We recently purchased an HD-TV and wanted an Apple TV to add to it. I have been extremely impressed with the Apple device. It was easy to install, works well with other Apple devices, and definitely enhances our viewing enjoyment.

Apple TV has a ton of apps. It hardly took any time to set up. It automatically recognized my iPhone, iPad and MacBook and I'm able to stream from those as well as the Windows PC's on my network. Apple does a lot of things well and the Apple TV is one of its most stable easy to use products. There are a lot of "cord cutter" apps like HBO Now, Showtime Now, Hulu Plus, etc. With an Apple TV you don't even really need cable! Just pay for Netflix and Hulu and maybe HBO Now and you'll never want for something to watch.

Very easy to hook up and set up. Love that it comes with it's own remote or I can use the app on my phone. Airplay is very easy to use.

Love it! Streams great and such a beautiful picture! I use it mostly for Netflix and AirPlay from my MacBook Air & it works great. Occasionally, there's periodic lagging BUT it rarely happens and is usually when the wireless signal is being used on other devices. That may just be my wireless Internet connection, not sure. But all things considered, it's a fantastic product, great quality, and I'm glad I purchased it.

The product was very easy to set up and easy to use. It is so much better then out smart tv function that we don't even use the smart tv any more. And synced with our iCloud for photos. We love the produce and with netflex and Hulu we cancelled out tv service provider and dvr fees. Well paid for itself. May buy more for the other rooms for Christmas.

Love the fact that I can now run my iTune Movies through my home theatre using the Apple TV. Until now I could only watch my iTune stuff using my computer or iPad. HBO Now which is only available on Apple TV is an unbelievable deal at $15 per month. I am watching Game of Thrones as each episode comes out now rather than waiting a year for it to reach the iTunes or DVD. I am a Cable Cutter using an off air Antenna and a TiVO Roamio DVR (also purchased at Best Buy). The two systems complement each other very nicely.

So far I like the ease of use of this product. I already own a iPad and iPhone and like that I can project stuff from them to the tv.

As with most Apple products, Apple TV is pretty user friendly. Takes no time to setup and begin using. The screen mirroring feature is great, especially for those apps or websites that don't offer Apple TV streaming.

We have had Roku devices in our home for several years. While they worked fine most of the time, we always had issues getting 1080p programming to stream properly. The Apple TV has solved those problems. The interface is quick and seemless and provides much more connectivity to other apple devices. Be aware you can't download new apps to the Apple TV like you can with Roku, but everything we need is already there. Plus you can mirror your imac, ipad, or iphone to your screen easily should you want to do so.

Easy to set up, allows you to display your iPhone, iPad, Macbook on the TV. You can also play netflix and other web based TV apps.

Even with a smart TV, I find it easier to get to popular streaming services with this Apple TV. The set up is easy to follow on screen prompts and the minimalist remote is nice too, a bit small/skinny but still good.

This is a great device if you don't have a smart tv. We have it for our Apple devices and it works seamlessly. Easy to setup and use.

Easy to have your entire iTunes account over your TV/entertainment center either thru homeshare or the cloud. I watch movies bought and rented from iTunes directly on my HDTV. Several different apps to watch Hulu, MLB TV, NBA, NHL etc. AirPlay allows you to stream what's on your iPhone or iPad. Watching CNN from my app on my iPad looks the same as if the TV were plugged into a cable box or satellite service. I use a Logitech universal remote. I had no problems configuring my remote to operate Apple TV. I connect with an Ethernet connection, not sure how reliable the wireless connection is. Some drawbacks: The volume is pretty loud. I have to turn my stereo down pretty low to keep from blasting my living room. I would like to see more apps, for example an Xfinity app. It defaults to an HDMI setting of 720. When I change the setting, the next time I turn Apple TV back on, it defaults to 720. The MLB TV app doesn't allow you to watch two games at the same time like the Xbox app does.

This is my 5th Apple TV purchase. We LOVE being able to stream Netflix, Hulu and iTunes movies wherever we are in the house. I also love being able to display images, videos, etc. from my iPad, iPhone, or Mac computer directly to the TV using the Airplay feature. Really cool! And if we ever purchase an additional TV, we'll purchase another Apple TV. And we love that the price has come down a little, even better.

I've been wanting to get an Apple TV for a while and finally did it and I'm thrilled I did. It was easy to connect and fun to use.

I strongly recommend everyone should have an apple tv in their living room. This Apple TV gives a whole lot of comfortableness to watch any video quickly straight from my iPhone 4S and Ipad Air on the bigscreen tv in just seconds without having to worry about hooking cables etc. I am not really sure but it definitely looks like it plays without buffering (compared to blue ray player) from popular apps like Netflix, Youtube... List goes on... Strongly recommend this to all particularly Iphone and Ipad owners.

I love that I can mirror from my iphone and ipad, but I wish there were more apps available like Amazon Video, spotify and pandora

Best of the bunch in my opinion. If you have other Apple products in your house such as iPad, iPhone, Mac etc, then getting an Apple TV is a no-brainer since AirPlay is such a useful means to display photos, stream movies, music etc, to you TV. You can also use iPad/phone with the remote application to control Applle Tv thus dispensing with the otherwise very good and simple remote. With Netflix already and HBO Go soon coming to Apple TV, it fully supports my decision two years ago to cut the cord with cable TV.

This product is very easy to use. Easy to set up. Not much to dislike except for maybe not enough apps. Overall I would recommend.
