This is a great product, I have gotten wonderful results using Apple TV. I enjoy watching movies and regular TV shows. I bought an Apple TV several years ago and did not have any problems to this day. I wanted to be able to watch movies and catch up with past TV shows in my bedroom, so I bought another Apple TV for my bedroom. It is a good quality product that you will be satisfied with, go out and buy one today, the price has come down a bit.

Easy connect ready to go. Great channels and the mirroring option from other Apple devices, thumbs up!

This has been a tremendous life saver without cable. I could easily access netflix and Hulu on my playstation, but it was so bulky and not easy to move from tv to tv. This has totally made up for that and I couldn't imagine not having it now! Only sucky part... You have to have newer computers to work with it. Make sure to check the exact model and year. I was off by 6 months and now it doesn't work with my Apple TV. But everything else does!!!

Got the Apple TV after trying and returning a Roku 2, whose Miracast in Beta did not work. Apple TV and Roku are great platforms, but not every streaming website or app works on them... there is nothing for Universal Sports, Watch NFL Network, or Watch TNT, for example. You can get these apps to the big screen using a tablet or computer with an hdmi cable, but that's a bit of a hassle. I was eager to try Airplay after the Miracast fiasco, as had just got an Iphone 5s. Airplay does work for these apps, it's just not perfect. The resolution is a bit downgraded, but at least the sound is synced. Wireless display technology just isn't there yet. You have to accept that. Miracast has lots of issues, unless maybe you have a high end Android phone or device, or use it with a Windows device. But the idea behind streaming is to lie there and one click with a small device, not be bound to a clunky keyboard. That being said, I prefer Apple TV's user interface to the Roku's. It's just more seamless and quicker. I don't see the need for the new Apple TV... it's not like you're going to be able to get the apps that Apple TV doesn't have, the aforementioned sports streamers, or what have you. 3d gen. Apple TV works just fine.

Apple device sets up easy and works seamlessly with apple products as well as my current wireless set up

This is my second Apple TV. The picture quality is great, and set up is easy. My 78 year old Mother in Law can use it without issue. Only issue is Apple block Amazon Prime video from the package. If you have Apple products like iPhone and iTunes you can access from this device. Wonderful product.

Ok, the sales guy talked me into buy the Apple TV when I bought my Macbook. I had never heard of it, but it sounded cool and I watch a lot of shows on my laptop anyway so I bought it. It is easy to set up and connect and very cool to transmit my computer screen or iphone to a huge TV set. I have only tried it a few times so far, and half the time it works just fine and a couple of times, it disconnected itself in the middle of the show. Easy to reconnect but frustrating when watching something. It could also be the buffering of the computer but I am not sure yet. I liked it enough, we went back and bought another one for my daughters room! Worth the purchase.

This is a great product. We use it mainly for watching Netflix where it performs flawlessly. I also use it for streaming music from my device to my stereo through my TV and that works perfectly too. If you're trying to use it to share your screen, or use your TV as another monitor, know that there is some lag there (about 1 second). This is fine if you're giving a presentation but might be a dealbreaker if you're trying to play a game.

It's the easiest to use for everyone. Pictures's very nice, audio is good enough for me. Thank Job.

The AppleTv was very easy to set up and is much easier and quicker to use than our Blu-ray player when accessing the apps. Remote is very small so easily slips into the sofa...

Love how light it is that we are able to take it with us on our travels. Love how easy it is to set up.

As with most Apple products, Apple TV was easy to set up and use.

I had the roku and chromecast before I bought this. It's really great! The only downside is that you can't add additional apps other than the ones that come installed on the device.
