Goodbye DVD player! I can't believe I didn't buy this sooner. It was super easy to set up. I can stream from my iPad and iPhone. My mom can watch her movies fromher iPad as well. I was worried it would drain my phone battery, not at all. I watched an entire movie and only used 15% of my battery. I also recommend the mirroring function. Everything you see on your phone shows up on the TV. No need to use the control. Love my Apple TV.

This product is so easy to use. Set up takes 2 minutes then your ready to watch virtually anything!

As far as streaming devices go, this one is second to none! Our sales person was extremely helpful and made this a simple transaction. Plus, once home we plugged it in, signed into it via the iPad and we were watching it in minutes! We had signed up for it the previous night so it was very simple. I was surprised to see Hulu and the other services on there as well. This is going to replace all of our Rokus. Cant WAIT to buy more!

Great product if you have Apple products in the house and want to be able to connect the TV to it. The internet connectivity for Netflix is very good as well. Well worth it if you don't have a smart TV. Even with a Smart TV, the Apple TV controller is simpler and faster. You don't need to buy the memory versions unless you buy items from the apple store, which the memory then allows you to download and take it with you.

The first Apple TV I purchased had a faulty remote control, so I exchanged it and it works great!!

This device allows you to access your computer, iPad, or iPhone for viewing on your TV. In the past, I hooked up my iPad to the TV with a connection device I bought through Apple. It did not always work well. The connection gave spotty reception and it was a pain hooking it up each time I wanted to watch something on Netflix. With Apple TV, all you have to do is turn it on with a remote that comes with it and change the mode on your TV to HDMI 1 or 2 (depending on which slot is open). You will have to do some initial set up for the device to recognize your computer router, but then after that you are set to go. The remote makes it easy to select Netflix, Hulu, etc and you can stream easily. I highly recommend this device. It has made streaming so much easier. You can also view pictures and videos that are on your computer. I have an iMac, iPad, and iPhone. It also works with other systems, but I do not have any info on that. Check with the sales person before buying if you have Windows operated devises.

I purchased the Apple TV because we have a great plasma TV but it isn't a smart TV. It's about 10 years old. But the TV picture and sound quality is awesome. 65 inch Panasonic plasma. We needed the ability to watch Netflix and YouTube and I didn't want an XBox or Ps4 sitting around. So this inconspicuous device is easy to install, easy to look at, easy to use. Awesome. Of course this was suggested by my kids.....of course.

This is the second of these Apple TV devices I use. They facilitate wireless viewing of movies, music etc., stored on an iPhone, iPad or Apple notebook on the connected TV, and also provide access to Netflix and the various movie channels. They are great for TV's that lack built-in WiFi, but for a TV with builtin WiFi they only add the remote display of movies, music etc., from the iOS device as the rest is duplicate function.

I love this product because I stopped buying physical copies of movies and TV shows a while ago. Now I can just buy and store everything digitally and with Apple TV watch it all in HD on my TV screen. Plus you can use it for tons of other things like Netflix, Hulu, YouTube, Vevo, etc.. The only reason I gave this product 4 stars instead of 5 is that at times it seems to just kick you out in the middle of a show and you have to go back and play it again and resume where you were. I think this is an Apple TV glitch of some kind they haven't fixed. This is my 2nd Apple TV and it has the same glitch that happens every so often.

I love having this so much that I give it as a gift. It's look, size and ease of use is terrific.

The Apple TV box is small. Adds no big box clutter to your living, viewing area. Easy set up and use. Expands viewing options in leaps and bounds. Great feature tapping into personal photo albums and iMovie collection. Access and play personal Vimeo movies. Must have for Apple lovers.

I bought this primarily so I could use AirPlay on the Macs in my house, but once I got the AppleTV installed, I realized it could do much more than I'd expected. I love being able to stream Netflix through it and my kids love the things aimed at children (kids games, music, etc). I also enjoy being able to have multiple iTunes accounts available through the AppleTV because it allows me to watch TV shows or movies from my account and my daughter can switch very easily to access her music, movies, etc. The only negative thing I would say is I'd like to see the remote, at least for this device, have a bit of an update. As an Apple customer for years I understand they like the minimalistic approach, but when watching movies or navigating some of the menus, it would be a little easier with a couple more buttons. All in all it's an excellent product at a great price and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a place to consolidate multiple media accounts (Hulu, Netflix, HBOGO, etc) into one place.

We spend a lot of time on the Apple TV, watching Netflix, Hulu, Yahoo Screen ("Six seasons and a movie!'), YouTube and iTunes Store content. We enjoy the Apple TV so much, in fact, that when Apple reduced the price of the unit we purchased two more for other sets in our house. Installation and setup is easy and navigation through the services is a breeze, especially since the update that allowed users to rearrange the icons.

Apple tv is a great way to not only watch shows using apps but I love mirroring my screens to my tv. I use my iPad, iMac, Mackbook Pro, and iPhone to mirror what I'm doing on my tv's and to watch from my iTunes library. I put most of my favorite movies on my iMac considering its a 2 TB and just watch movies through apple tv using my iTunes library. So much more easier than finding dvd's, inserting them, etc. Just click and go!

I purchased my Apple TV about a month ago and love it. Easy to use great functions and best of all AirPlay support is awesome. I love the fact that you can watch anything on your tv from your phone including Moviebox all in HD with AirPlay there is not need to rent or stream any movies what's so ever because it's FREE Great purchase.

Pros: Easy installation, HDMI picture and sound, lots of apps (all the movie/TV/music apps you could want), small sleek design, CPU Mirroring. Cons: No HDMI cable (seperate purchase nessessary), may not be comparable with all Apple CPUs for use of Mirroring. If you want an "all in one" multimedia source of entertainment-this is it! Be careful to read all the nessessary compatibity requirements to get full use of the product.
