A revolutionary product from Apple, what a surprise. This is a must have for any Mac, iPhone or iPad owner. The mirroring and airplay features alone are worth the purchase price. It can also allow computer monitor extension to your big screen tv included. No extra fee or hardware. It also has many easy to use apps and a full video library.... If you don't like it you must not be doing it right. Take it from a Pro!

The apple tv decice is pretty easy to install and it's only a hundred bucks. You can mirror any apple product on your tv or use any non smart tv and turn it into one. You can listen to all your music purchased through itunes or not by using the air play setting. Great buy

Apple TV was super easy to connect and set up. We were having trouble streaming netflix on all options, the smart tv, playstation and xbox, we even set up a wi fi extender near the TV that didn't seem to help. As a last option we thought we would try Apple TV. We plugged it in set it up and it works perfectly all the time, no buffering or intermittent signal. We couldn't be happier with our purchase.

I love this. I can watch movies from my apple devices on my tv with relative ease. Haven't tried other features but that's mainky why I hit it and it works great.

Apple TV is easy to use and connection is very good.

My daughter and her husband told us that they were hoping to get this unit to expand their TV viewing options, since they do not have cable or satellite TV subscriptions. They report that they have had great success using Apple TV over their home WiFi internet connection. We are very pleased that this unit was readily available and simple to hook up and has enhanced their viewing options considerably.

If you love apple this is for you. It makes any tv an smart tv and also allows you great connectivity with iPhone, iPad and MacBooks. Easy set up and easy to use. They update the software periodically and add more apps and features. I have 2 TVs and both have the device

It allows me to play youtube videos through my TV. Only minus is the lack of app store support for the device to add other video apps not pre loaded...for now

This a great option if you want to see app on the device or from you iPhone on the tv, now is a different way to see the tv, really convenient and easy to use.

Works great. Asll subscription services are there and its easy to move to other TV's.

Been using ChromeCast for about a year. Was happy with it, but decided to try out AppleTV since they've cut the price to $69. I couldn't have been more surprised at how much smoother and easy it is to use compared to ChromeCast. The AppleTV is installed on the same TV as the ChromeCast, but it never loses the WiFi signal. I can stream almost anything from my iPhone with no lag. It is simply awesome!

Apple TV was easy to set up, and streams Netflix, Hulu Plus, HBO NOW, and a bunch of other channels. HD video and audio quality are much better than I was getting with cable. Of course to get movies and TV you'll have to subscribe to Netflix, Hulu Plus, or buy programming from the included channels. There are some free choices, but they're limited. It's tough to just get a recap of the news, like you'd get on cable or satellite, but I added an HD antenna to get the local broadcast stations. Although there are some channels I like on cable that I'll miss, I think I can live with that.

This product is perfect for using internet TV. Netflix, HBO Go, Amazon, and nearly every other service you could think of are available. It's incredibly user friendly, so much so that my dad, who has a very difficult time with technology, is able to watch Netflix with ease. I truly recommend this product to anyone who wants access to Internet tv and doesn't want a $300-$500 game system to do so.

XBMC is becoming a popular platform and there is plenty of set-tops that comes with XBMC or with capability of installing that. Unfortunately proprietary method of application distribution through App Store, doesn't let you do what you want to do on your Apple, meaning that your friend would buy a cheaper device with more functionality than your 100 dollar apple TV! The only way to catch up is jail-breaking apple TV, which is legal but not approved by Apple and the catch is, there is no jail-break for 3rd generation of Apple TV yet, and because of that, used version of Apple TV 1 and 2 is being traded way over original brand new price in the market. A great feature for Apple lovers, is that they can wirelessly send their Mac, iPad, or iPhone screen to a TV, and good news for people who have mixture of Android and Apple devices, is that there are some Android apps out there that allows streaming from Android to your Tv through Apple TV.
