This product is very user friendly. Easy to set up. Like the small size as well.

I purchased this Apple TV for a long trip intending to use it to broadcast my cloud movies. It's packaged very securely and setup is a breeze. I'm happy with it but I did learn one lesson on my trip. Some hotels/resorts tend to secure their WIFI against streaming upload content (they want to sell you their movies, content etc) and this Apple TV will not work then...or at least it didn't with me which is why I only gave it 4 stars. All in all, if you don't want Google Chrome-Cast or need the added Netflix etc features of the newest Apple TV then this is the one for you.

This was too easy to install and configure. The rest of the world should learn from Apple. Plug and play it IS -with simple menus for setup and configuration. I now get everything from my Apple (music, photos) wireless streamed to my TV (oh yah did I say it was 5G). Fine details is your have to have itunes running and be sure to turn on sharing under preferences. I now share a best of photo gallery during parties with my music. It also a win win if you also enjoy netflix and is much faster than some of the other options such as using a playstation3 with medialink. As with all Apple products the remote is really easy and light in your hand. Only pet peeve is the menu button is very small and easy to fat finger as you move around the different menus selections. I did quite a bit of research before selecting this product and if you have an apple don't even think about the Roku. This is a down and out winner and the price is a no brainer

It's everything I was looking. As a Mac user and idevice owners I got the chromecast because it was cheap and thought it could do what the Apple TV does but I was wrong and refused to pay 99.00 for the Apple TV. Finally Apple dropped the price and I got the last one on the shelf and it does everything I was hoping for and now I'm happy except the ability to add apps but that's why I kept my roku.

I am an Apple fan, therefore I can be a little bias, however I will admit that although the product is fairly easy to use, like must of Apples electronics, I think they should make the control a little more user friendly and not so basic. Also the features need to be updated, in my opinion you should be able to download apps if one wanted. Beside that I like the product, although not really wowed by it.

I am extremely happy with Apple TV. It is a great entertainment device that provides allowes users access to Netflix, ESPN3, HBOGO, and the ITUNES store. I would highly recommend this device to apple users. In other words, those who already have multiple apple products at home. It's a device that works well with streaming content from iPhones, Mac computers, and iPads. If you are not a mac user it might be better to purchase Chromecast or Roku (price point is much lower).

For under $100.00 its a great thing to have. The device is small and easy to use. The only problem I have seen is that at times it will disconnect from the wifi.

I purchased an Apple TV for my wife so she could watch NetFlex and a number of old TV shows. The set up took about 10 minutes and it was installed on my network and allowed me to watch the NetFlex offering. In addition there are at least 10 other offering which come with the Apple TV. My wife was also able to "mirror" her iPad on the TV and see her mail and other TV shows very easily.

Works great and easy to use. We use it for presentations in the office on TV screen

I purchased one for my husband about 4 years ago and our family loves it so much, I bought one for MYSELF. I will be able to watch the "old movies" when I want to. Being able to rent movies through Apple to watching Netflixs, it works great and doesn't take any room up. The price has come down a few dollars since I bought the first one and with using my Rewards - the price even got better!

Bought it for my wife to get Netflix. It is small, non intrusive and so easy to use.

For starters, I have owned the previous generation/version of the Apple Black Square, and it worked fine and the picture looked better than my 1080p devices (PS3 and Xbox360). So, patience has been rewarded! The price drop and some Best Buy $$s, it was mine for ~$50. I am not disappointed, the picture is even better than before, didn't think it was possible, but Netflix looks even better now!

Easy to use. Streams fast with a great picture. Really like the air drop also.

This makes everything easier for me! I no longer have to wait for my xbox to load, or my tv to load the netflix app. Apple tv is fast and efficient and the picture quality is pretty awesome. Almost anyone can use this, as it's interface is user friendly and it's easy to set up. I work in video and I can sync work from my apple computer to the apple tv show I can show clients the work I've done. It's a lot easier than having them lean over to look at my computer screen. But as per the usual these are just my thoughts and this product may not be for everyone.

If you want a very simple, internet capable device, this is it. The only caveat is: you must have an iPhone or iPad (preferable) to operate it. Apple, in its infinite wisdom, has no respect for Windows or Android. Other than that, an excellent product. Even the packaging is impressive (thank you Steve Jobs - being sarcastic). For the price, well worth it. Setup is extremely simple. Ciao!

The new Apple TV looks exactly like the previous version: same small black box. It’s got the same inputs and outputs on the back: AC power, HDMI output, micro-USB for service only, optical audio output, 10/100 Ethernet. It’s just as easy to set up: simply sign in to your Wi-Fi account and use the remote (or better yet, the free Remote app on an iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch) to navigate around.

This is a great product. It is very compact and easy to set-up. There are many positives however, if you access Amazon for movies, this is not for you!
