Very simple set up. Easy to use. The only down side is the super simple remote, it needs a few more buttons for easier navigation.

Apple TV is a great way to bring your Apple experience to the big screen. In my case it is a 65" TV and I love how anything you might be doing can be put on your TV. Example I receive something on my Mac and I want to Show my husband I simply tell him to put Apple TV on and I can show him the e-mail, picture, video or joke that I am looking at in the other room. I also purchase my movies through I Tunes and this is the easiest way to watch movies. I know I will always have I tunes but I know that I will not always have the same cable company. One of the last great things about Apple TV is having friends and family sit around the TV and we can look at pictures and memories together straight from the computer. Oh and by the way they have the most popular channels ready to go at the push of a button.

It was quite exciting to know I could do screen mirroring with Apple TV...until I discovered that I cannot watch Amazon Prime through the app on my phone, and certainly could not download the app to the Apple TV device. I'm going to try Google Chrome to see if my problem can be solved that way. In an ideal world, I should be able to use screen mirroring AND be able to access my netflix and amazon prime apps!

With at least a half dozen good streaming players on the market now, the Apple TV is still arguably the best. Google, Amazon, and Roku all make good players as well for even cheaper prices. I love the solid metallic feel of the remote and the ability to mirror my iPad display using airplay. With so many apps available for the iPad as well as competing streaming players, I'm a little disappointed in the lack of apps. I would like to see Amazon video app, and tune-In radio app which are available on other players.

This product is a great overall product and does everything that is expected but it lacks in certain areas. If you have a desktop computer next to the device the computer also picks up the signal from the remote so when changing channels on the Apple TV the desktop will start playing music. Great if you want music played but most of the time its annoying. Apple is supposed to be coming out with a new model soon ( June 2015 ) so if you want to wait go ahead but you cannot beat the price of the current Apple TV.

Connects easily, works great, and I got monthly iTunes subscription to HBO-NOW which lets me catch-up on favorite series and "new movies". Lots of features, but I principally pre-order films to enjoy after a long week. At 65$ (on sale), it's a nice complimentary device. Actually also makes for a great last minute gift. Spread the AAPL love.

the apple tv is an integral part of our home entertainment system. we enjoy putting on our music from itunes and playing family photos from my digital picture library. I use a pc, not a mac and there are no conflicts. another great feature are the apps for places such as youtube, pbs, netflix, etc. as well as ability to purchase movies through itunes.

I love Apple TV the HD Netflix streams are better quality than through my TV (like the Doctor Who ones), and you can use airplay to sign into your itunes account to play any of your digital media (music, tv episodes, movies). I'll admit, the remote isn't fun if you have to type something in, but not enough to make me dislike using the product. And the batteries it uses, while they weren't ones I was familiar with as everyday usage (like AAs or AAAs I was happy to see they were common enough to be sold in stores like Walmart or my grocery store). All in all, I'm very happy. I also heard they're adding HBOgo to the list of things you can use on this product soon, in addition to itunes, huluplus, and netflix among a bunch of other stuff that's not important to me (like some trailer thing I used once because I was curious).

love this Apple TV. it works great I've never had a problem with it not loading. its easy to use and easy to hook up. small and sleek so you can take it with you. I have two and bought one for my parents and boss.

Perfect product, use in my new home, easy and don't need help

I have 2 Roku's, one has been replaced twice, decided enough is enough! Replaced with Apple TV, am I sorry I waited so long? You bet I am!!!!! Nothing negative to say about this unit. Would not be upset if the other Roku stopped working, then I would have 2 Apple tv's. VERY EASY setup. The remote Is small but easy to use. So pleased with APPLE TV
