Easy setup, quick learning curve... Small remote (good and bad)

Lets say this device is by far the most useful and entertainment machine combine into a little device. Whether you stream from your iphone or ipad to apps such as cnn,espn, lifetime, and many more with just a click of a button. Definitely buy it, it is a must have. Its so good that i took this time to write a review in which i have never done before.

Apple TV is a great, easy to use media streamer....just be aware that it is very limited in regards to apps and streaming choices..the most used apps on this device will be Netflix, HuluPlus and of course iTunes....that's about it...the others are pretty mediocre...Conversely, the Roku 3 has over 700 apps, and many many options to locate and stream media..including Amazon Instant....the Apple remote is pretty cool..and very simple and easy to use..but I find the direction pad to be just a bit cramped at times .the Roku 3 remote has a headphone jack and is a bit more comfortable in hand....the one thing I value with the Apple TV is the ability to mirror my iPads and iPhones to my TV with the touch of a button..this is pretty cool when surfing the web or showing pics or video...Final Verdict..I love my Apple TV...and recommend it highly...but only to those who have several existing Apple devices or a large iTunes library...if this is not the case, it's really very hard to justify it over the Roku 3's superior scope of options regarding apps and media..including its ability to search through all apps from the same spot...if I didn't have a need to mirror mybiPads..I would have gone Roku....that being said..for what it does..the Apple TV does it well!

This was an unplanned purchase and I don't regret it all. The services are great, I can watch all my videos from my IPhone on tv, I can mirror my phone screen on the tv, it has quick access to YouTube and Netflix among many other streaming apps. It's so portable I can carry it everywhere and with a HDMI cable connect it to any tv and watch my shows!

I love the Apple TV. My family and I watch different TV shows, old and new. We're able to watch Netflix and other programs through Apple tv. It's easy to install to TV and can be moved around easily. I love that were able to move from TV shows to movies at the click of a button. I would definitely recommend this and have to other friends and family.

This item is easy to install and operate. It works very well.

I have two of these already. One in my bedroom, one in my living room, and this will be for my office. If you have other Apple products, then this device is for you and your family. Built in media streaming apps, and connecting your iPhone/iPad/ and or other Apple devices via AirDispaly is easy. This device will complete your mobile device line up.

I compared Apple TV to the other similar devices and selected Apple TV. It was a great decision. I am an amateur when it comes to tech stuff and especially installations. The Apple TV installation was easy and took minutes. Connected to HBO and my other stations. This is my first step towards cutting the cable cord. Thanks Apple and Best Buy!

Bought this as a gift for my daughter. Needed something to stream Netflix, Hulu etc.. from the household wireless router. Other things do that. However, this unit's ability to interconnect her other apple devices was worth the extra money. Installation and set up was easy and straightforward. Performance so far has been flawless. Very Happy

Overall the best feature to me is the fiber optic Digital Output. Excellent performer. Never had any issues. This is my second one. I also love that I can use my iPhone or iPad as a keyboard. Ability to mirror my iPhone, extend my desktop or stream music from my iTunes library has condensed my entertainment center to a TV, soundbar and Apple TV.

This is our second Apple TV. Very easy setup and works great.

If you really need Air Play, this is your only answer. An app playing on the iPhone can "Air" on your TV. What shows on the IPhone can also be mirrored on the TV. Many appliances can play Netflix or Amazon through them on your TV, (this can too) but I know of nothing else that can stream what is showing on the iPhone, directly to the TV.

The picture quality is excellent. The directions are intuitive.

Bought this for my sister's flat screen that wasn't internet-ready. It's awesome! I can watch Netflix on tv rather than my laptop. Heard there was going to be a new version coming fairly soon. But I don't think I'll upgrade, as I really just got this for the Netflix access.

This product was easy to set up and extremely easy to use.

Its easy to use has great quality and you can get hbo for $15 a month without having to subscribe to a cable company. Its great!
