It's really cool to see my macbook desktop or my iPad on my big tv. I like that I can connect anything to it and see it on the big screen. It makes sharing youtube videos easy and fun. I'm sure there are even more cool things about Apple tv that I haven't discovered yet, so I'm excited to explore what else is available to me.

It's nice because it's wireless. Makes life easier so you don't have to keep your computer next to the tv and you don't have a bunch of cords to hide. I like that all apple products can hook up to it. If you have a lower end cable company it might have a delay on transmitting to the TV and don't forget you can't put your dvds in your computer and play them because apple blocks restricted dvds. For example all my workout videos are blocked. I can hear sound but no picture.

Super easy to set up out of the box. Literally had it up and running in minutes! Streaming from Apple devices is simple and foolproof. We have had zero issues with this. Love it and highly recommend this product!

Love love love this. So convenient and easy to use. Airplay allows you to watch apps that are not preinstalled on the Apple TV. Has most apps that most people use - the standard Netflix, Hulu etc... Only negative is that I wish there were more installed apps, but again, Airplay allows most apps to play through the Apple TV

For an Apple product to be so well priced is, in and of itself, a bonus. While they are planning to release some fancy new version with a new remote and who-knows-what-else, this version is exactly what I need. It allows me to to airplay music from my computer, to watch netflix, and even rent a movie every now and then.

Very easy to use..and easy to setup..very fast ...

The Apple TV reciver is easy to setup and works great. The interface and controls work great. My only issue with this device is that it dosen't have an app for Amazon prime video. I can use AirPlay from my IPhone or IPad to display Amazon videos and you tube videos on my monitor so this problem is solved with some extra work.

Installation took less than 4 minutes. Looking forward to saving lots of money with this device. Most programs on cable are not worth the outrageous price that they charge and I will be weaning myself off with the help of this device. There are more programs and options available than what I was expecting. Definitely a buy.

We have other Apple stuff (macbooks and such), so it made sense to get this gadget when i wanted to listen to music out in the living room instead of the office. Plays Netflix and Youtube very reliably. We even use it to screencast a few times a week, when we sit with the kids for a learning exercise (what is fire? how is paper made? ...). Easy to use. Can be paired with a bluetooth keyboard to make it even easier to type, but the included remote is pretty simple just the same. Even on a 4 mbps internet connection, it still plays online media pretty well, and seems to buffer intelligently. It's missing a web browser i think, but with the screen casting features, that is made up with another device that's probably easier to use for web browsing anyway.

This is our second Apple TV, and we absolutely love it. Setup is as simple as plugging it in. Two things I wish Apple would address - since this is our second Apple TV we had to go through all the setup, arranging apps, etc. again. It would be great if you could import the settings from another Apple TV. Second, I really with Apple would come to an agreement with Amazon Prime.

solid product, easy to use, works well with netflix.

I put this media player in a bedroom which is the farthest away from the router. It works better than the smart dvd player in the same room and its works better than the smart tv that is in a room next to the router. I also like the idea that the software can be updated. I am planning to buy one to put in another bedroom.

I like the apple tv, easy to use and working great.
