As usual Apple comes out with with something that is easy to use and works like a charm. It covers most of the streaming offerings out there along with some you can't get elsewhere. My daughter uses it for college instead of paying for cable.

I bought this to replace the Roku Streaming Stick I purchased a few months ago. Was having problems keeping a connection to my Wi-Fi. Love how it works seamlessly with my other Apple products... (iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch and MacBook Pro).

The Apple TV is great because it's simple and intuitive. Set up was simple and straightforward ( plug it in, plug into TV) the only thing that would make it better is if an HDMI cable came with it but you can buy one at Best Buy anyway. Great product I currently own 3 and have gifted 2 of them

This apple TV is worth the money specially now after the price reduction. The apple TV provides a lot of channel catalogs such as HBO, Showtime, ESPN, ABC, FOX, FX Networks, etc. and are adding many more every so often. Also if you use apple products its very easy to use airplay for sound and video.

Apple Tv is a great addition for those who have apple devices in their home (including itunes) and want to stream netflix, hbo go or their music library on their TV. You can also use apple TV to connect via air play and stream music services outside of apple music such as pandora or spotify.

This is my second Apple TV. I had the 2nd generation Apple TV for several years and it worked perfect. The second generation is a 720p which is standard definition in Apple speak. I upgraded to the latest Apple TV so I could have the full HD experience. The set up was easy and the picture is great.

I got it for my sons room. I was able to disable any contact that I felt he didnt need to see. Easy to setup. Reason I didnt give it a 5 star is because when you send a movie from your IPAD to Apple TV, it has borders on all 4 sides. I understand if it is the top and bottom but why all four sides, it makes it look smaller than what it is. If there was a zoom option or aspect option it would be nice. Small detail on a good product though.

A great way to add capabilities to your tv be it a dumb or smart tv. The unit is very responsive. I purchased it to access HBO Now which Apple worked out with HBO for early exclusive featuring of the new app. In some ways I like it better than my Roku 2, primarily how sharp it looks onscreen. The remote is of durable aluminum and has sharp corners which is a downside. It is thin and small though so that is a plus. The buttons are stiff and fewer than on the Roku. In this area I prefer the Roku's remote. The other thing to note is when I was logged on the PC into the HBO website perusing thru the menu of show listings, I noticed on the Apple TV that some of the shows (sexually explicit) were missing. So be forewarned not all shows from the HBO site will be viewable without some tinkering around with the settings...if it's possible (have not tried). Don't worry however Games of Thrones will be viewable thru the HBO Now app. That aside it is a good accessory for your tv and you won't be disappointed by it's crisp performance.

I love the Apple TV we now have three of them one on each tv and our TV's are all smart tv's already. It seems to be faster then the Smart tv functions that are built into the TV and Ilove that Ihave all my movie downloads on record with iTunes and I don't have to get a single disc out. Its amazing.

Apple TV was such a pleasant surprise I purchased 2 more. It works very well for streaming movies. It even buffers very quickly for a TV that is quite far from my Wi-Fi. The close TV’s basically load instantly. Movies are often a dollar less than Comcast. Airplay from an iPhone or iPad is great. You can stream YouTube, pictures, presentations or most anything on the internet right to the TV. You can also use it as a media center to play songs from iTunes on a computer to you stereo system. It is intuitive, like most Apple products. Finally, you can see all Digital Copy movies that you have loaded through iTunes. Even movies my kids loaded on their iPods years ago show up. Much slicker than Ultraviolet.

I loved the Apple tv. I could look at netflix, HBO go, and alot of other programs. You can also buy movies and games. Very cool if you do not have a smart tv that does these things already.

Reasonable price . Easy to set up . I considered buying the Sonos wifi version but the cost was much higher than I wanted to invest . Making my older amp wifi capable was the goal and the apple product was a great fit for me . It was very easy to set up just like any other apple product .

I absolutely love this product. It's great to be able to go back and watch the network shows through their apps. Also having all my movies right there on the tv and not just on the tablet or phone, plus being able to use air play is great for the channels that don't have an app on the apple tv yet.

This is truly the best (less than) $100 we have ever spent. We decided to cancel our cable subscription and limit our tv watching to Netflix movies, we bought this little box to have something small and sleek in the livingroom, as opposed to accessing Netflix though a gaming system. After plugging it in, we discovered that we have all the luxury of Apple's App Store, ability to play our music or view photos from our iPhones, computer, etc... Watch youtube videos, listen to internet radio, and much more. We are so glad that we made the change from $150 a month for cable with a bunch of commercials and nothing ever on tv that we even wanted to watch, to a one time $100 purchase and endless fun!!

I bought the Apple TV for a vacation trip where I was going and no tv service was avaiable. It hooked up easy and boom some type of tv service. I don't know if this device would totally replace a cable service long term, but was able to stay in touch with the outside world for 2 weeks. I was able to log in to my home cable service though apps provided. I may upgrade to Apple TV 4 for more apps and flexibility. Worth the money!

This is my 2nd Apple TV device. Great picture and no buffering issues (yet). Replaces ChromeCast and Sony DVR, both of which had irritating loss of sync and/or buffering issues. Lots of streaming sources available with this product but I mostly just use it for Netflix. Catch it on sale if you can.

I already have a smart TV and just wanted an easy way to display my iphone / ipad via the airplay mirror option. it was easy to connect my devices and get them on the big screen in no time. I'm not using any of the other features, so this older and less expensive model worked for my needs.

I wasn't sure about Apple products, I have always been a die hard PC fan. Recently I came across an iPad for cheep which led me to the Apple TV. I am now an Apple Fan, their products just work, it appears they do not release anything unless its possible error rate is almost nonexistent, their products are easy to install and set up, and you don't have to be a programmer to use them. Apple TV is just another example of this, I have since purchased the new iPhone 5 and the 4th Generation iPad as well. This product is amazing and I would recommend it to anyone. Oh, also, with iPhone or iPad airplay you can extend your tablet or phone with a button to any TV in your network with Apple TV .... Awesome!!!!

Great apple product. Setup is quite easy and syncs with other apple devices. Not a huge selection of apps, but the ones available are easy to use and navigate. Airplay feature is a great feature.

Have not used the product a great deal yet. But overall - simple to connect and set up, fair selection of sources. Only downside, and really not the fault of the device - Comcast knows how to block the services via the Apple TV device when the user is not subscribed to those services as a Comcast subscriber (e.g., if you don't have a Comcast TV package with ESPN, you won't be able to watch ESPN programming on the Apple TV. Se la vie.
