Picked this product up for my wife's birthday. She just loves all the apps and it's really easy for her to connect herself so she moves it to different TVs all the time. It's essentially just the power cord and HDMI cable so she moves it between rooms she's in. That has been a blessing and a curse as one time she moved it to the room I was in using my MacBook Pro and listening to music on my headphones. She plugged it into the tv a few yards from where I was and started browsing, this began to control my laptop as well. I couldn't get my headphones off quick enough before it was blaring at top volumes. Apparently the left and right arrows on the remote can and WILL control other Mac devices in range. I would suggest blocking the infra-red sensor on any devices you do not wish for it to also control. Other than that little surprise I can't say anything negative about the product. I show it off to my friends and family when they visit. So far 2 other members have drank the Apple Kool-aid and have purchased their own.

Simple to s/up and use. Remote is a bit small so you will have a tendency to loose it once in while.

Love my Apple TV. While a little pricier than the competition, it does everything I need it to, and fully, easily integrates with my Apple-Centric household. Setup was super easy and airplay work great, automatically with all i-devices. Stream from my iMac and MacBook Air as well. Couldn't be happier.

I purchased the Apple TV after having it shown to me by a salesman at an Apple Retailer. Until I used the device I never knew that anything on my iPad, Apple computer or iPhone could be sent to my home TV. Whether music, video or photos, this device is something every Apple user should have.

Tired of paying for additional boxes around our house. Tried AppleTV for the kids rooms and it's been working great ever since. Kids can stream our payed for content as well as stream their online youtube nonsense. Easy plug and play, easy to use (and lose) remote.

This apple tv is a fantastic value for adding the online media networks to a tv that is not connected with one of the kids gaming consoles. While we initially picked this up to add our Netflix account to a tv that didn't have any game console attached to it, we found that it's also great for sharing our iPhone screens, displaying picture, music videos and even connecting our computers to a large screen tv! All for the low price. It really is a fantastic deal. It is super easy to connect to a tv and get set up. Also, it's not overly complicated in trying to figure out how it works or navigating to one of the available media channels. I'm thinking of picking another one up!

back then we were using the hdmi cable and the transmitter thing to connect our apple products to our tv . now with apple tv its so so so much easier.. just use airplay and you are good to go, it works with all apple products!

After this dropped to $69 I went and bought one. As it turns out, I use it more than I thought I would because it's really convenient. Being able to AirPlay my iPad or iPhone screen to the TV is awesome and now that Popcorn Time can stream to the Apple TV, it's been very useful for streaming movies from my computer. I would recommend this to anyone, but would warn that you should wait until at least October for a newer version.

I went back and forth about buying this product, but I am happy I did. It's nice to be able to see what is on my iPad on my TV, with a bigger screen. I opted to connect it to my router with an Ethernet cable, and it gives me the option to use my iPad to surf or play games instead of only be able to mirror it to my TV, but curtesy of my wifi, I still have that option available. I am able to watch my Netflix or Hulu on my TV.

Great quality, as expected, from Apple. Couldn't be simpler to set up and begin using. Tiny -- takes up virtually no space whatsoever. Only downside is the search feature, which involves inputting words letter by letter by scrolling over an alphabet grid. That's still not too bad, as suggestions start popping up once you've input a few letters. An alternative is to download the Remote app to your mobile device and use that in place of the Apple TV remote (which is so small, it's easy to misplace); using the app you'll be able to type on an actual keyboard instead of scrolling and selecting letters. Thanks to Apple TV, I'm downgrading my Cablevision package to basic only and saving a bundle!

Apple TV is great. Good selection of apps. Only negative is there is no App Store to add your favorite apps from apples iPad/iPhones but does have many from HBO go, Showtime go, FX, Netflix, ESPN watch where you do get live ESPN telecasts. The Apple TV is small taking up very little space.

If you don't have an Apple Computer, I'd look at other options. The biggest plus for me with Apple TV is that I can use my computer on my TV screen. The competitors have the ability to add/delete apps where Apple just lets you use the native apps which they add or change from time to time.

There's always something on now that I have an apple tv. Connects to your WiFi and works great...

Awesome Product. Turns regular tv into Smart TV. I don't have cable tv downstairs only on my upstairs tv, but by having HBO go and Showtime Anywhere, i have the ability to watch anything that is on either network. Also i can stream movies from my itunes and music to my tv. I love this product.

So awesome. Quick and smooth usage. Easy to set up. Can sync your home cable alongside some of the channel apps and watch a whole ton more different shows other than just Netflix and Hulu. I watch all my iTunes downloaded movies and shows, and listen to all my music too. Totally love it

This is a must for any Apple owner! What's not to love??? It's an apple product! If you are an apple user?? Go for it! You can link all Apple accounts as well as use your phone or iPad as a remote! The remote that comes with it is pretty small and easy to loose buy a holder for it if u can!

I have tried most of them, Chromecast, Roku, ,etc. The Apple is by far the easiest of the trio to use. Set up is nothing, and I never have any problems watching or streaming any program.

Great access, easy set up, easy to mirror either iPad mini or air on our TV. Super for our extensive use of sign language video downloads, just what we needed! No complicated programming or issues. On top of all that, we have the great versatility and entertainment offered on Apple TV.

With this product I was sold a cheaper cable. The associate said that it was perfectly sufficient, which wasn't true. You definitely need a thicker cable to support it. Other than being sold the incorrect corresponding product, I have been completely happy with my Apple TV. No complaints.
