Didn't opt for the new device with built in memory for Apps as I store all of that on the local house network. this is still agreat device to add to any TV that has HDMI and maybe is not a Smart TV (or so they call them). Just the right mixture of Apps come on the Apple TV and if you have an iPhone or iPad in the house it makes it that much better by streaming to the Apple TV on demand.

I use apple tv to steam my iphone and ipad contents, its very easy to set up, you just need wifi and follow the steps, the only down side is NO hdmi cable included. You can grab a cheap one, works the same way. Bottom line its easy to use and quick to instal.

I have an iPhone and iPad and I use them with my Apple TV daily. I have Apple TV on all my TVs and it compliments other Apple products well. I stream my photos from my phone to the TV for others to see, rather than everyone clouding around me on my little iPhone.

ApplTv, does not vbest fit the characteristics of this device for sure. it is lacking many popular streaming apps and the reason for that is Appl as always limits the use of their devices for what they want it to be and not what customer wants it to be, for example one of the best and most popular DNLA apps is PLEX, and apple does not support or allow the use of it and not only that, APPLETV so much for the name TV, it does not even allow it's selfe to act as your DNLA, nothing can be streamed to the APPLTV unless it is coming from itune or ios or mac. it wont let you access anything on your network unless it is all from mac deceives, in general if you are going to use this a solution for the airplay for all your ios and mac devices, this is the best. the software update on this device is PAIN, so much problems every time they release update and this unfortunately has been so disappointing not much updates either. had to spend long phone calls to support to get this updated, and that because of how senstive or in compatible appltv can be to a wireless router. i know this does not happen to all or many, but this is a fact and apple support agreed that this was a problem with a wireless router. and to end it all, i am not happy that there is no 3rd party support for adding new apps, it has been years since apple released a new APPLTV and all these years very very limited addition of apps. disappointing from apple.

Its always been a hassle to share something on your iPhone with a friend beside you... Until now. It's great for watching TV, watching your digital collection of movies, sharing photos from a recent trip, etc. it really unlocks the functionality of our digital lives.

Once younare into Apple i world then this little device is well worth it. Seamless screen mirroring. Airplay, popular apps as a standlone box makes it an excellent choice. Use it all the time to listen to music, watch movies or screen cast it from an i device.

This is a great product for anyone wanting to hook up netflix, youtube, hulu plus, etc. to your TV. It was super easy to install and works like a dream. The only negative I have are that the remote is difficult to work and it does not come with an HDMI cable included.

I only wish I would've purchased this sooner. Apple TV is simple to use and seamless. No lag time and merges well with my other Apple products. Love all of the different entertainment channels and options.

Got this product mainly for AirPlay. Works great and is easy to set up and use.

Very easy to setup and use. Only complaint was it didn't come with a HDMI cable when I expected that something like this should come with one. Great for streaming Netflix and HBO go. Syncs easily with my Macbook and iPhone so I can stream movies and my desktop to my TV.

Price reduced now that they have released the newer model. This coupled with my iPhone 6s plus and AirPlay makes for great fun gaming, video watching, picture sharing. Love all the apps! Great for Netflix watching and streaming from my media server. SCHWEET!

I do not pay for a set top box television service so I depend on my AppleTV's to stream the content I want to watch with services like Hulu, Netflix, DisneyJr and now the recently added CBS app. I also love the AirPlay feature the AppleTV has. Comes in handy

Friends of mine have this and I thought I'd bite the bullet. It's offered a nice single-connection solution to run iTunes radio, Netflix, YouTube and other services through our TV. I haven't explored all the features yet, but it's working real well for the things that we wanted. I have had to reboot it 2-3 times when using Netflix. Not sure why. Small hassle....but it's probably a bug.

Product has a great personal usability. We used this product fo a business test to compare to a laptop and projector. Using the Apple TV with iPad or laptop was easy and clean. We no longer need to connect to projectors. We can connect wirelessly to the tv's.

I decided to get rid of cable and try AppleTV based on a recommendation from a family member. I added HULU and Netflix. I was not delighted at first because it seemed like I had to buy a season pass to watch shows that are on local TV. Through HULU I can still watch some shows for free (less the monthly subscription). A friend told me I can use a HDTV antenna to watch local channels. I like that I can stream my music. I am still testing the product, but one good thing, it forces me to watch less TV and watch what I want when I want, vs watching reruns of episodes that I have seen countless number of times. Yes, you can do it with On Demand TV, but then there is a $200 bill attached to that service. I don't like I have to have a subscription through a cable provider to watch HGTV, CNN and things like Disney XD . . . I will wait and see if I can find a solution.

Since HBO Now is only available through Apple TV right now, I decided to get this nifty little device. It was easy to hook up to my Samsung Smart TV and iTunes account--and it's fairly easy to use. My only gripe is that you have to press the buttons pretty hard on the teeny remote, which sometimes selects things I didn't intend it to. Overall, happy with my purchase and would recommend.

I am an apple product fan and I like the conviece that all the products work together. I use it mainly to watch movies and TV shows, I usually use my iPhone and the the mirroring feature to browse the Internet or show pictures and videos to friends and family.

I have several Apple TV's in my home and when I found the price had been reduced I found another TV that needed one. I wanted to look at the newer version but I have found this version does everything I need and the new options were not necessary for me.

easy to use and set up to work with your tv streaming accounts and airplay is great.

Excellent addition to my television set I never knew that I had so many things on it I would've been gotten only one along time ago it's very convenient and have access to so many different stations it really amazed me and I'll simple it was to hook it up
