I'm constantly out of town for work, and when I'd get back in town and see my dad he would have a million questions about pop ups and updates on the laptop I gave him. Apple to the rescue! The majority of his use is browsing and social media, so I bought him an iPad. Everything he needs, and since I trained him in the iPhone a few years ago, the interface was a breeze. Apple 1, windows 0 Once that issue was addressed, the issue of Netflix and streaming arose. Apple to the rescue again. I purchased him the Apple TV. With the interface consistent with the apple product line, getting started was simple and easy (after logging into the various accounts). Another feature he likes is the ability to AirPlay his phone and iPad to the TV screen. 55" Facebook!!! Apple 2, all others 0 So... Long story short the Apple TV is awesome. Buy it...

Purchased this for our youth pastor so he could connect his MacBook to the tv we have in our youth room, wirelessly. Works perfect. Had to change some settings on the wireless router to do so, but after doing that, it works just as it should!

Bought this device to complete my husband's office. He has the need to push video's from his iPad or iMac to the tv screen and this does the job beautifully!! Bought a second one as a gift for my brother and his wife and they were thrilled!!

I really like the apple tv. Its very simple to set up, and very easy to use. If there is a problem, there is adequate help. Its small and neat. very cool.

Got this to sync all my information movies music and photos to my tv. Works great can watch my movie purchases on the big screen. Love this device easy to use great options and apps for all your media needs.would recommend this too all apple users.

I found that the set-up was very easy to do. As long as you know your apple password, but that's another story. The installation was even easier with a simple HDMI plug in and either hard wire or wireless network configurations. The size is also a plus for either adhering it to the TV or just not taking up a lot of space on a dresser. There are a lot of choices to view, almost to many. The biggest and greatest thing about the Apple TV is the ability to view & listen to things from your apple devices. My final thought in this product summed up in one word is awesome.

I'm an Apple guy, so this works for me. I understand its a competitive thing, but I do wish it had an app for Amazon video. Other than that, it works fine. You do need a strong, steady wireless connection if you are hooking it up that way.

I mainly use the apple TV to stream movies from my Mac to my TV. it works great! easily connects to my Mac, iPhone, iPad and any other apple product I have connected to it. I also use netflix on it a lot. Haven't tried many of the other apps.

I know, it sounds like a sales slogan, but the face of television viewing is changing, and the Apple TV box certainly is a step forward. Not only are there apps for just about everything out there (except, disappointingly, Pandora Internet Radio), but the Apple TV box interfaces with your computer's iTunes library, turning your iTunes library into a virtual jukebox. I mainly bought the box because I wanted a box that had access to HBO Go app, so I could watch the latest "True Detective" and "Game of Thrones" episodes on a real TV. As I said, the lack of a Pandora app is frustrating, but the interface with iTunes is well worth the inconvenience. If you don't already have access to the internet, and don't mind the lack of Pandora or Amazon Prime, then by all means, pop down the coin for one of these puppies -- it's well worth it.

I didn't think that I wanted an Apple TV; however, now that we have it, I love it! We do not subscribe to cable and we watch most of our tv from online sources. We also have a roku, streaming blu-ray player, and chromecast. Apple TV beats them all.

Never had anything negative to say about this product, with the exception of how much renting movies through the Apple store is, but the ease of navigating to the different apps and watching HD tv shows and movies is something everyone should consider.

If you are an Apple user than this is device is a must. You can sync your iTunes, cast movies and music, the apps are fast and if you have cable, then the amount of apps you have access too greatly increases. It's easy to setup and a great buy.

This is a great little device. It basically turns your television into an iTunes Player so you can see all your media, listen to your music etc. it also comes loaded with many apps. If you use iTunes it's hands down better than the rokus etc.

The main reason I purchased this was to stream videos and pictures from my iPhone directly to my TV through my home wifi. However I find myself using it more to access everything on my computer more often. To say the least, it's a good buy

AppleTV works great, it's easy to use for streaming content to your tv.

I upgraded to the Apple TV 4 from the 3 and I am very pleased. The remote is easy to use and I like the added feature of having Siri. Apps are constantly being added and I believe the Apple TV will continue to improve and get even better.
