Im am an Apple fan. And I'm pretty happy with the Apple TV. Works as described. My only complaint is that it should give you access to the Internet. It has a bunch of cool free channels and we can watch our Netflix but I don't watch enough TV to pay for it to be worth paying for any of the subscriptions. My son's wiiU allows us to get on the Internet and browse so I expected that from he Apple TV. If you don't already have a steaming device this would be an affordable fix but if you have something already not sure if this would add much. I guess it would play movies that you have purchased through iTunes but I have t done that. The one cool thing it does, if you have other apple devices, is AirPlay. You can wirelessly view videos & pictures from your iPhone or iPad on your TV. That is pretty cool. And visitors could do the same without giving them your wifi password.

Very easy to setup. Very easy to navigate. Sync to iTunes and now can watch all my movies on the big screen. Tons of apps.

My neighbor gave me one for my birthday. Unfortunately my kids took it over so I never saw it. I then purchased one for each kid in the house. Has great entertainment at the ease of your phone as the control.

This is a great device and very easy to use! One thing I love about Apple products is that they are easy to navigate. This is extremely worth it instead of having to pay ridiculous cable company prices.

Great way to mirror your iPad to your TV to play game, or watch Netflix.

I love my Apple TV. I don't have cable, so I am able to watch anything I want using Netflix, HBO Go, etc! I would highly recommend. Also I love how I can stream anything from my iPhone right on to my tv!

I had planned on buying an apple TV for a long time. I went ahead and purchased one a couple of weeks ago. I have to admit that this little device amazes me every time. I have never switched off the device after I turned it on, and not even one has the appleTV rejected my request for playing anything. I have a net-gear NeoTV max and a roku. Apple TV out beats them but a great margin. Will surely buy a couple more when I move to a new house. I recommend buying one if you have a lot of apple devices.

The apple device is OK if you do not have a smart TV that provides the same apps. Apple TV is limited in that they do not offer AMAZON prime for streaming, and the device does not stream 4K so the best resolution you will get on a 4K TV is 1080.

I purchase this product. It was easy to connect to my TV it took no time at all to get it to work and it works perfectly

I love the convenience of being able to stream movies and also love the ease of screen mirroring. I've misplaced the remote twice, since it is very small, but great product overall. I also love the feature of being able to have photos from my album scroll across the TV screen when my ipad is within range.

I am more than pleased with the many functions of the Apple TV all contained in a neat, small, easy to install and use package.

Easy to set up. Easy to use. Would be helpful if product disclosed on the outside of the box the need to purchase an HDMI cord is necessary and not included. Exciting possibilities and entertainment.

Excellent product, as always, from Apple. Great gift idea for those who don't have cable or satellite, but still would like to have access to additional channels. Very easy to set up and begin using.

I cancelled my satellite service in November 2013 and have been relatively happy living with just a handful of stations via a small rooftop antennae. I finally took the plunge and bought Apple TV after seeing the price drop and I've been very pleasantly surprised by the amount of free content offered by some of the "cable" stations. I live in a rural home with line-of-sight internet signal and didn't think I could stream tv stations. Boy was I wrong! The picture quality is great with little "buffering" even though my internet signal is nowhere near blazing fast. I can even be surfing the net while streaming! I've been kicking myself for deciding not to try Apple TV back when I cancelled my satellite service.

Overall I like it. I got mine on sale. I would not pay full price. I would have been happy with something cheaper. It is nice having the ability to airplay my apple products and viewing it on the big screen TV.

I LOVE my apple TV! Charter sucks and does not support many of the installed channels on AppleTV, but they do support the iPad apps and you can put that onto the screen using AppleTV!! LOVE, LOVE, LOVE!

If your in the Apple ecosystem, this is a must. Access to everything on your iTunes, music, movies, etc. on your tv is great, plus all the channels you can get online content on makes this a great buy imho.

Bought this initially to show videos from my iPhone on my TV screen. It has turned into a big part of my entertainment area. I rarely used my DVD player but kept it because It was my access to netflix. The Apple TV has that and more so I basically got rid of one piece of equipment for a much smaller one.

We had been streaming via our x-box 360 and our Blue Ray Player. This interface is SO much better, and doesn't drop the cable connection like our old xbox 360 became prone to doing. We love this product.

Apple TV allows you to stream content for all you apple devices to your tv. It also allows you to turn any tv into a smart tv and access netflix, facebook, and so much more. Definitely worth every penny.
