The Apple TV's setup is a a breeze, and the user interface is extremely intuitive. The ability to integrate other Apple products to it, such as a MacBook via AirPlay, or an iPhone as a remote, is pretty neat. Where the Apple TV falls a star short is the current content. While it has all the big names such as Hulu, Netflix and HBO, it lacks the breadth of content that a Roku has. If you are an owner of other Apple products and don't care for more channels than the big name ones then I highly recommend this product (especially if you are not the most tech-savvy).

Once you master the control on Apple TV it is awesome. I have tried to get my IPad to transmit on my LG 3D TV with limited success so I could watch things only available there. This is much easier. Picture and audio quality are great. There are added features not available already on my smart TV. I got this on sale due to it being an open package. Wish I had it a long time ago.

I finally purchased an updated TV with more than one HDMI port so it was time to check out the Apple TV. It was simple to setup/hookup and easy to use. The apps available are great as long as you are a subscriber to each individual channel. It also gives you the option to hide any applications you're not using. There is also a mirror feature that projects what's on your phone onto the TV screen which makes some games fun. The only thing I didn't care for was the petite remote control to operate the Apple TV. It's a small slim design that can easily be lost.

It's attractive in its simplicity, easy to set up, easy to use and incredibly functional. It will even let you set it up by touching it with your IOS 8.1 device! Then you can watch the subscriptions you hold from YouTube to Netfiix and a host of others. You can connect to your computer and share its contents and use Air Play to stream your iPad, iPhone or iPod contents. I love it.

I love how easy it is to use and how easy set up was! Great bluetooth connection. I use it all the time for Netflix and streaming iTunes videos.

This is plug and play. Everything you need in one compact box. Very cool.

This is a great product. It is easy to install and use. You can access Netflix easily as well as all the other services like that. There is a large library of movies and TV shows to choose from. Another great feature is you can mirror your Apple devices on it so you can watch movies or view photos or even do FaceTime (video calling) on your TV. A very worthwhile product.

Nice addition to entertainment system. Picture quality is great. Homesharing works as advertised. Simple to use. Needs more streaming selections.

If you are part of the Apple ecosystem, this is a great purchase for you. You can use your music, movies, and tv shows easily. I love how easy it is to use. I love connecting my different Apple devices. I should say, if you do NOT own an Apple product, this is likely not a good purchase for you, but if you are a fellow Apple user, I would definitely purchase this product.

Good for Youtube,itune apps stream to TV, easy to operate and nice design on remote unit. However, need more apps and Internet Google stream.

Slowly but surely Apple products are infiltrating my home one by one. Phone, tablet, now TV. Yes, I have a couple products that I can stream from, but AppleTV was just so intuitive and easy to set up. It's also a great advantage when viewing pics in the cloud, and my personal favorite activity, streaming ALL my music from Itunes. Now HBO Now???!!! Very happy indeed.

Simply awesome. An easy to use device that does so much. All our iPhones and iPads found it and we could play right over the air what we see on the device. Simply tap on the icon of a box with an arrow on the device and you choose your apple tv as a display. Have grown to love the thousands of internet radio sites categorized on the menu. Small and compact, the remote is even simple. Just be sure you have an HDMI cable and you are good to go. All the interfaces for Netflix etc. are consistent and therefore simple to use. Using ours direct connect to one of our HDMI ports on the receiver. Have an old and not smart flat screen TV. This device brought us up to date. Love it!

I was a little worried that this product was going to be too complicated for me. I set it up and it just started working like it was supposed to. Awesome! No complaints! I was able to cancel my cable subscription and save a ton of money!

I've enjoyed the Apple TV so much, that I picked up a second one to put in the bedroom. It is super easy to set up and works seamlessly with all my other Apple products. I watch a lot of video podcasts and YouTube videos and it's great being able to watch them on the big screen instead of hovering over a computer or iPad. I would highly recommend this product.

Apple TV is a great buy, it is an easy work around from a blu Ray player with an xmy or a video game console. That being said, you wont get the full effect of the device without subscriptions to HBO, Netflix, Hulu, etc. It is great to stream from a mobile device straight to your television and the setup couldn't be simpler. It is plug and play. It's size is great but be careful not to block the sensor with anything as it is easy to forget how small the device actually is. All in all, great buy and good bang for your buck.

When i was considering what tv to get, i kept reading in a number of places that smart tv's don't last as long as the smart attachments (i.e. chromecast, apple tv, etc.) since there are constantly new tv's with new software coming out. I own a macbook, iTouch, iPad air, and Samsung Galaxy S3. Before getting the apple tv I was watching everything on my iPad (youtube, netflix, hulu). I'm extremely happy with the apple tv. The setup was easy. My macbook connects without issue, but you do have to keep your computer up and open for it to play any movie/show from your itunes library if your using the computer share. What i tend to do to get around it is just sync anything i want to watch to my iPad, and then airplay from that to the apple tv to watch it on the big tv so i don't have to keep the macbook on. I'm recently testing the amazon prime 30-day trial with it, and with airplay it works beautifully so I can still stream to the apple tv and watch on the big tv.

This is the ideal addition to our household entertainment. It's small and easy to use overall, though I do prefer using my iPad or my iPhone as a remote so that I can type into the search box. Using the arrows to enter iCloud addresses, passwords and other things is a bit tedious with the arrow keys on the remote provided. The Apple-TV works flawlessly and provides plenty of options for us while we only subscribe to Netflix at this point. We have had no trouble with delays in loading, and we do not have a particularly fast internet package. I do a lot of video training, and it's wonderful to use the mirroring option to transfer the online material from my iPad or Macbook Pro to the TV screen. I had the good fortune to buy this product at Best Buy on sale for $83.99, and it has been worth every bit of it and much more!
