A big upgrade from the 3rd generation model I had for years. This newer 4th generation is so much easier to use, because the remote control is quicker to navigate through the apps. I have AT&T's WatchTV app on my iPhone, which allows me to watch 30 premium cable channels for FREE with my unlimited Plus cell phone plan. However, I wanted a better way to watch my tv channels than from a small cell phone screen, so I purchased this Apply Tv black box. I downloaded the WatchTV app, and now I can watch cable tv (HGTV, Lifetime, Hallmark, HLN, ID channel, etc) for FREE onto my tv screen, by changing the Input button on your regular tv remote control. This product is sooo AWESOME!

I'm hearing a lot about how smart TV's are tracking viewers and sending data to who knows where. Also that they are being hacked and used to compromise networks. I trust Apple to be as locked down and transparent as possible, so feel safe putting the Apple TV on my network. I have disabled all the smart functions from my TV and use this product instead. I find that there are apps for anything I want to watch. The remote is a little lacking in keys, but you can use an iPhone to enter text (for passwords etc) if you need to. If you're into home automation, the Apple TV can be the base station for HomeKit enabled products. All in all - very happy with these. Have 3.

Great product. Easy to set up and easy to use. Comes with several common apps and you can download any app you need from the app store. Works very well with iphone.

The Apple TV is better than ever in the latest model. The updated remote is my favorite with the touchpad at the top. It can be a little touchy, but works very well. Apple TV is fast and reliable!

If you own an iPhone, iPad, or Mac then you need an Apple TV. The picture quality holds up to a high standard and the ease of mirroring your device is incredible. Highly recommend over a fire stick.

Love now you can have apps on the Apple TV from the Apple store. I bought this version because visually there is no difference in 4K content than Blu-ray so no reason to spend the extra on Apple TV 4K

This device works great and handles all the streaming apps/channels I watch. Remote takes a little bit to get used to, but once you get the hang of it, it works fine.

Glad I purchased this. My TV still has a good picture so, the Apple box was an easy and inexpensive upgrade. Seamless download of apps and works great from WiFi.

Got this for my parents and they’re using it no problem. Super simple to set up, great for air play and mirroring your phone. Apps work great and feel intuitive.

In my opinion, this is the best streaming box you can buy. If I had a 4K tv I would have bought the 4K version. I love that it just works without having to fuss with it.

I resisted from getting one of this for a while, but now that I have it, I wish I had one on each TV in my house. The nice thing about this apple TV is that it allows me to include my netflix and other subscriptions in the same box, which make it a one stop shop. Plus, I like that I get one free year of apple tv. The microphone on the remote control is supper convenient for when I'm looking for any show or movie, and the fact that it allows me to project pictures or any content from my iphone is extremely useful, especially when I want to share what I am seeing on my iphone screen.

Easy to setup and start watching. Remote takes a little getting used to, but after a couple days, its growing on me. Picture and sound quality are great.

This is being used in a classroom to quickly display iPad content for both students and teachers. The setup is easy, especially with the ability to pull information off of an iOS device.

Ok, first off, it’s from Apple so it going work, and work well, but the remote, it’s a tiny work of art, metal back, rechargeable with cable included, only a few buttons and a track pad, and being Apple, it just works. Enter your Apple ID put your iPhone or iPad nearby and it takes the WiFi info from it and in 5 mins you’re watching telly or a movie. I swear the picture quality is better than my old Amazon fire stick. Well pleased. Thanks Apple

I had one of the first versions of Apple TV and the newer one is great. Easy to use, quick, intuitive. I don’t like Samsung’s App Store on the smart tv so love having Apple TV.

I recommend this latest model of the Apple TV because it will work with all the apps out there. Older versions are not compatible with all of the latest apps. Very fast and intuitive!
