This is an upgrade to my 2nd generation Apple TV. I wasn't sure whether an updated version would be announced this September, so I went ahead and got this one. I'm glad that I did! Pros: * Setup was a breeze. * Streaming and UI speeds are *way* better than my old one. * I actually like the remote (a lot of people don't). * Whenever I open something with a search field, my iPhone tells me that I can use its keyboard for typing. Nice touch! Cons: * Nothing glaringly obvious yet. I've only had it for a little while.

This is a worthwhile upgrade from my old ATV. I no longer have to wait for content. The remote does more, but I’m not yet a fan.

Very happy with AppleTV. I switched from ROKU which routinely had issues related to power. I first thought that the issue was unique to my Samsung smart TVs. I later learned that others had the same issue. I can also say that ROKU remotes burned through batteries. AppleTV remotes are re-charged with my iPhone power cord. I wish I paid for the extra for the newest AppleTV remote. My son has it and it's an improvement over the standard model I have.

Picture looks much better than the other streaming stick I purchased. Only issue is the remote takes some getting used to. Apple TV is good too.

It works like any Apple product very easy to use great quality but unfortunately there is some lag for some reason at times when using zoom.

I bought an Apple TV because AT&T was in a spitting contest with Roku. The device works very well, easy to configure. My only complaint is that the remote control is not intuitive, and many times in a dark room I've accidentally wiped the top, changing channels.

The Apple TV does it all: it streams all the programming I want, it controls the TV with ease, it allows the complete banishment of over buttoned and confusing remotes.

Cut cable , needed something to stream all my apps on , it’s perfect, I have a firestick but it’s very laggy and slow, Apple TV is super fast and simple

Bought this for my office, use airplay for meetings and online courses through my laptop, along with tons of streaming!!

Just updated my mom's system with a new Apple TV - and so pleased that she is pleased. What is easy for a kiddo, isn't always so with older parents - but Apple TV is so simple and straight forward that she enjoys using it - loves the Hey Siri option - and is having fun discovering new shows and materials that she didn't previously know about. Wonderful product.

Apple TV is the best. I love how easy it is to just unplug and bring with us on trips. Simple to use and easy to set up!

I FINALLY hopped on the "cut the cord" wagon, and I'm glad I did with Apple TV. This streaming box is WAY faster at jumping from app to app than my Xfinity X1 box ever hoped to be. And I appreciate that it will turn my Smart Samsung TV on and off with it, as well as control the volume of my home theater receiver. The 4th generation remote "swipe pad" works very well, and the mic button for dictation is a definite must-have feature to make life more convenient when entering passwords. Radio frequency (RF) control is really nice, since you don't need "line-of-sight" to use it. I will say it is taking some time for me to get used to how the menus work, so maybe I'll feel better about navigation as time goes by. But my main goal of having Apple TV was to stream my iTunes library to my home theater system. That in itself makes Apple TV worth every penny for me personally. And the kicker is I have a TV in each of 3 rooms in my house: family room, living room, and master bedroom. Each of these TV's is connected to a home theater receiver, with at least tower speakers as mains (I'm old school like that...can't beat speaker space volume and wattage) and dedicated subs. So I picked up a couple more Apple TV's. You can stream your iTunes library to each TV location that has an Apple TV SIMULTANEOUSLY! It's like whole-house audio on STEROIDS, but MUCH cheaper. Overall, if you have all Apple family products in your home, you will benefit the most from having the Apple TV.

The interface, remote, setup, and capability to use apps make a much better product than the old series 2 that I used for years

I bought the Apple TV because it supported HBO Max. Roku and Amazon Firestick do not support the HBO Max App. Apple TV is a superior product to both Firestick and Roku. It is easier/more intuitive to use. It has way more options for viewing content. The remote is charged the same way you charge your iPhone. I will be buying another Apple TV for my other TV to replace my Roku device.

This product was easy to set up . Easy instructions. Works great to mirror iPhones that don’t work with older TVs. Lots of great apps.
