Purchased for my grandmother who cut off cable. Being able to download apps allows her to watch Disney+ (Hulu), Netflix, Apple TV+ and a host of other free channel apps (like Pluto, the CW, Tubi, Crackle, Filmrise). Not to mention downloading games she likes (solitaire, gin rummy, spades).

This Next Generation of Apple TV is great for anyone looking to "cut the cord" there are some aps that require a cable or satellite subscription so if you just have a basic minimum subscription it's worth downloading apps like ESPN,NBC Sports,and Fox Sports Unlike the original Apple TV this version allows you to select apps that you will watch or games you play.

Bought our first Apple TV to watch some shows that were no longer available on Netflix. Easy to setup up using my iPhone. Still find the remote annoying.

I needed to project an app onto a TV located in another room. I explained my dilemma to a Best Buy associate and she explained the Apple TV process to me. So I read up on it a little bit more and decided to give it a try. Apple TV worked like a charm ! clear picture, and no interruptions with the signal. no wires or cables showing either.

All of my TV's are 4K besides one spare bedroom. This Apple TV works perfect for streaming DirecTV NOW, Netflix, Apple Movies, etc. The remote is easy to operate and the unit itself operates quickly. This is also nice for streaming Apple Music and Sirius XM.

Honestly, I’m not as tech savvy as other members of my family, however, I am getting the hang of it. It was easy to set up. It lets you use your keyboard on your phone or iPad if it’s connected, you can use Siri to search. Lots of options. The remote is sensitive but easy to navigate.

User friendly Apple TV. Good improvement over older version. Remote is much better.Also like how easy it is to share photos and videos on the screen. Only disappointment is the previous app/selection choices on the screen are no longer there and I have to re-import all of them.

Bought this to use for Apple Fitness+ and it works well for that. The remote is a little strange but I was able to get used to it. This version is only 1080p but is fine for workout videos. If I got it to stream Netflix or other services like that I’d probably get the 4K instead.

Bought product as a refurbished item to save money and it does the job! Came in near perfect condition and haven’t had any issues. Set up was quick and easy, and you can’t tell it wasn’t new. Main purpose was to be able to watch videos / shows that wouldn’t work via Chromecast, so now the screen mirroring lets us watch everything on the big screen.

I am trying to get away from high cost cable. Not sure why i didn't do this before now. Very good little system that gives me plenty to watch. Free 1 year of apple TV also. Worth every penny. I don't own a 4K TV so just went with HD version. Works just great. Very happy with this purchase.

Love Apple TV hardware and the ease with which it works. We like to cast our photos, ape, and music from our phones to the TV and this is the easiest way to do it. We also use the apps for Netflix, Disney, Amazon, etc.

I had the very first version of the Apple tv and it’s lasted still all these years. I decided it’s such a good product to get another one for my bedroom. This version is amazing!! Same quality but advanced. Even the remote is advanced! I’m sure this will last me another 10+ years.

I have tried all of the streaming devices - Apple TV is the best and most reliable. The cheap sticks work but they really don't compare to the Apple TV. If you are an iPhone user then Apple TV is a good option for you because it ties in to the apple account that you already have set up.

Recently spent time disconnecting, cable being the main difference being without. Surprisingly enjoyed the time, then tried the Apple TV to have some family game watching and movies. Adjusting is great with this device, as long as I keep the spending to a minimum, right? Easy enough to use part time , will try for full time.

If your an iPad user, then you’ll love this device. All your photos and music are available on your TV. I bought it to cast or Airplay exercise videos from my iPad to this device. Works like a dream. Requires WiFi. Get the upgraded 4K UHD device for an improved picture, even without a 4K TV.

This is an easy way to mirror your iPhone and/or iPad to your tv. Additionally, you can download various entertainment applications to enhance your entertainment experience. The only drawback is getting used to the remote control. Patience pays off, just make sure you have plenty of it getting used to the remote control.

I purchased the Apple tv for my Mother, she absolutely loves how easy it is to set up and how simple it is to use. She didn't want to pay a cable bill and she wasn't sure how to cut the cord, Apple tv made it easy and she loves being able to look at her pictures and videos on her TV screen. Thank You!!
