I finally decided to invest in this product after my family took a deep dive into the Apple ecosystem (iPhones, Apple Watches, iPad, etc.) We switched to this from an Amazon Firestick, and there was a huge difference. The ability to use our phones as remotes and keyboards, and the screen mirroring are amazing features that make the price worth it. With all that being said, I LOATHE the remote that comes with it. It's touchy, small, fragile, and downright frustrating to use at times. And a replacement is $80.

Bought it to let my kids play apple arcade games on the tv. Works perfectly for that. Great for streaming too. Just make sure you get controllers. An xbox series x controller is probably the best now, just make sure to update to the latest version

I bought this unit because I got a year free of Apple TV with my iPad purchase. My television is too old to get the apple ap. What a perfect solution. It was easy to hook up, and is easy to use.

I was a sceptic buying this because of previous purchases of streaming devices. I needed something and this came highly recommended to me so I went for it. It’s a little more than some other products on the market. I am happy with the purchase. It streams everything flawlessly and it’s simple to use. Would recommend.

I use this in my classroom with a MacBook. The Airplay feature is awesome and allows me to project material from my iPad, iPhone, or MacBook to the board for my students to see. Quality is great when watching movies and TV. It's great. Worth the extra money over a FireStick, Roku, etc.

The new Apple TV is a much needed upgrade to a product that was ahead of the game at launch many years ago. Contrary to what many of the reviews have stated, I find the Apple TV remote intuitive and easy to operate. With the debut of Apple TV original programming lineup that is spectacular even for its breadth and depth (considering its a premiere season) the new Apple TV HD device is sleek and powerful and is a daily reminder of why people choose Apple products above any other brand: apple sets the standard for technology (and now entertainment) often by a short period of quiet observation of failure followed by the display of how those failures could have not had that as their moniker. Coming in second can only be deemed successor to first when first crashes and second glides gracefully across the finish line with integrity and execution firmly their lead

We have 6 of these Apple TVs in our home and they provide an excellent platform for watching what we want when we want.

Great streaming box for TV and AppleArcade games. The remote though is horrible to use most of the time.

The Apple TV 4K is an amazing addition to my home theater system. It’s a great hub for all of your apps like Netflix/Hulu/Amazon Prime TV/HBO/Etc. There are so many apps to download form the App Store and the user interface is amazing. Accessing Apple Music and YouTube is great. Screen savers are beautiful and add look amazing while you play your music or just want something nice to look at. Siri is great to use while watching a show/movie and you can ask to rewind/fast forward/pause/etc or open apps/play music. It also acts as a hub to my Phillips Hue light system which is great too.

AppleTv is a great way to connect to digital streaming services, games and content you create using your Apple products. One of my daughters favorite features is going on and watching pictures that we take on my iPhone then seeing them on the television through use of the AppleTv

I bought this because the apple fitness app didn't stream to my built-in Apple TV on my smart tv. Would recommend if you don't have a smart tv or if you want to stream your phone to the tv.

I own an Apple TV generation 2, and purchased this Apple TV as a gift for my Mom. My mom has an iPhone, iPad and Mac so she has bought into the Apple product-line making this a perfect gift for her. She is new to streaming apps such as Netflix, Hulu and Amazon Prime so the product was initially a bit overwhelming. However, as a technology user, this is extremely easy to use and has some upgraded features such as a track pad, voice controls and added customization. For example, you are allowed to pick and choose which apps are downloaded to the device. The best feature is the ability to airplay videos or mirror your screen. Overall, I would recommend this product to anyone who has Apple products because of the seamless integration. Otherwise, this is still a high quality streaming device.

We had an old Apple TV. Never quite knew why movies would cut out and we’d have to restart. Not any more. The interface is soooo much better. A world of difference. Set up was very simple.

I love my Apple TV I cut cable a long time ago and have no intention of going back. I am an apple person so like this streaming unit better but I’m sure Roku, Firestick, are just as good. In my opinion if you like apple get the Apple TV so it will work together with your other apple products.

I really only bought this because HBO Max isn't available on Roku. However, its a nice little streaming box as you'd expect from Apple. Although, in typical Apple fashion they try extra hard to innovate at the cost of functionality. The touch area for navigating is probably a little over-the-top and unnecessary. It's easy to miss what you're trying to select (at least for kids). Arrow keys would have been perfectly fine. All-in-all its a great product.

I bought the Apple TV to mirror online events from my iPad and iPhone. I prefer the convenience and quickness in mirroring items rather than downloading each individual app. This is the second Apple TV that I have purchased. My first one cost $99.00 a few years ago. I was shocked to find out the cost had increased to $149 in just a few years. Most electronic devices have gone down in price during that same timeframe.

Bought this because the smart TV was no longer smart - very few of the apps continued to function. Set up was very easy and it was simple to add apps. The iPad connects with the unit so you can watch you tube videos found on the iPad; one time connection only required.

We love this product! They only thing we are not thrilled about is the touch pad. My kids have no issues, so maybe it’s an age thing. Getting better with practice though. If you have an iPhone this makes it easier as they connect! Photos, videos, podcast, and musically in one.

Once you master the sweep motion required to move from place to place, you have lots of choices for free. We subscribe to MLB, NETFLIX and BRITBOX. Turning the Closed Caption on some programs is annoying. You do not have the option of turning it on for all programs. You must turn it on program by program. Pictures is really crisp and sound is good. We occasionally have problems with losing the connection with the internet.
