I already had one next gen device and this was to replace my 1st gen device that is becoming more of a brick with all the restrictions apple and app developers are putting on it. I am really pleased with this product. I liked that they are still available in 1080p and you don't have to upgrade to the 4K version. Its got a good application suite and responsive remote and I love being able to control it from my iPhone. My only issue (and its minor) was that it did not mimic the home page that was already set up on my other next gen apple tv. IT worked partially, but they were not arranged correctly and some apps didn't come over at all.

I read about Apple TV before I purchased and it does meet the expectations I had after reading about it’s features. My only change would be the remote, it cliches, so I downloaded the remote app on my phone and it is easier to use.

Very easy to set up and easy to navigate once setup is complete. There a lot of choices of what to watch. If you don't have a smart tv like me then this is the way to go to get Apple TV.

I have a lot of Apple products so we thought we'd go with this Apple TV for one of the TV's and it definitely has a lot to offer The price is a little steep compared to Roku but I guess that Apple logo is a lot of the price

I’ve had an Apple TV for years and most recently upgraded to the newest version. It’s faster to respond and I love that I have the option to add apps now will be getting another for my theater tv

Great for access to online movies and shows. The touch remote is a little to get used to.

Purchased this to get access to Apple TV programming and to mirror video and music programming on my iPhone. Easy to use. Next step is to try out Sling TV and YouTube TV. I still subscribe to xfinity but this will give me the opportunity to try streaming options. IMO Apple needs to set up a (streaming) roster of channels that will mimic cable channels. Xfinity is too expensive.

I mainly use this for my HomeKit hub. works great when away from home.

Had to update my apple tv only because the old version isn’t compatible with sling tv. No complaints with this so far. Everything works nicely and smoothly. Would definitely reccommend the upgrade for those with the older apple tv units.

If you love apple products & the way they function, I don't think it's possible to not enjoy the Apple TV functionality. Very smooth & is nice how easy it is to mirror or share from your iPhone as well

We had a 7 year old apple tv before finally upgrading and it's like a breath of fresh air. It seems like even shows we are watching look better. Runs faster and can handle the apps better than ever.

Apple TV sets the standard for an easy interface, quality apps, and easy of installation. The primary problem is that the cost is so much higher, relative to the competitive FireTV and Roku that it might not justify the high cost. If you love Apple no matter the cost, this is the streaming device you will want.

I love the changes in the software and user interface with the new Apple TV. For the price its well worth when getting away from regular cable TV. It makes like so much simpler.

My wife had one of the older versions of Apple TV that started to not be reliable. This Apple TV is amazing with response time and functionality.,, It does take sometime to adjust to the remote, but it is worth the money.

Had issues trying to just setup the Chrome through a managed network, Google GUI and setup process is confusing and unintuitive. Bought the apple tv and everything works seamlessly right out of the box.

I love Apple. You don't have to agree. Apple keeps my life simple and everything works with each other. The Apple TV streams anything and the interface is so easy to navigate. I'm not going to buy bluray products, everything is online.

Upgraded from an older Apple TV so that it would work with Disney+ The device is great, but I don't like the new remote. It is much more difficult to use than the the old circle style.

Wow I did not realize what I was getting with this Apple TV. It has changed the way I am watching TV these days. Great Remote, Great New apps. Easy to use. The remote took a few minutes but Now I love this thing.

very nice remote as long as you don't have long fingernails. menu system easy to use. voice control works well for search. good system for streaming services , not just apple.

Very fast. Smart TVs are nice but you can’t depend on their software at times. Now I just use the Apple TV. Simple and you get like forever support from Apple. Also, any movie you own and it updates to 4K, it’s free.
