Also can use the AirPods, phone works for keyboard as well. The only negative I have is my husband does not like change or anything complicated. He prefers the Roku, he thinks this is complicated to use… it is not. Photo slideshow is pretty neat too! Set up was super easy.

Upgrade

You tube dropped off, plus we couldn’t get Disney, or Discovery, and it kept resetting at least once or twice a day. My husband loves this one as he can use the microphone to search for things and the remote is bigger!! We are, “what took us so long?”

Amazing followup to the last gen

It’s solid and hefty and feels amazing in the hand. The Apple TV operates the same as the last generation with no new features but you don’t really need one when the device does what it was meant to do..

Even though Apple TV app may obviate need for the box. Having an alternative streaming device as backup desirable considering you can still connect to your computer to view photo library for family on tv as well as access your apple music

I had one that lasted for many years, and replaced it with a 4K model. This little device makes it so easy to navigate between apps on a smart tv. I especially love the ability to speak instructions

Especially having a remote that i can find that doesnt match the night stand. Also siri is so much easier to use.

Hooks to your home woifi and is extremely good.

Apple TV for the Family

Our son wants to watch his shows when we're watching ours, we got this for his tv and now he's able to use it easily with streaming apps. We appreciate the easy set up.

Awesome value

I do not have a 4k TV where I am using this, so the HD model worked just fine. It was easy to set up and I was watching movies within minutes once I was able to get power to the unit.

I like the new remote functions and enjoy that it is rechargeable. It’s more pricey than other streaming devices but Apple quality is hard to beat.

Pricey, But I have Zero Regrets

I had the Fire TV Stick for a while and it was horribly glitchy to the point where it fully stopped working, no matter how many times I rebooted it. The Apple TV device is so seamless and easy to connect. I highly recommend it!

Needs more syncing with TV and previous channels

However the software has become very difficult to maneuver and closing out Apple TV from your TV is not so simple. They need to automate the syncing with your tv to make this more seemless. And didn’t see the software automatically provide all of the other providers that I had on my previous Apple TV!! I know I didn’t use them all but want to have them available!!
