    This is a must have if you want to have your MacBook laptop charging and a thumb drive in, or connected (wired) to another monitor,tv, ect.. it is as straight forward as can be. USB C HDMI and regular USB. It doesn’t get much easier. Plug and play, great if you haven’t wanted to upgrade all your old flash drives. Some argue that it is what Apple should have included with the MacBook anyways, but they are glad to sell you this to get things done. While it is high priced, what Apple products arent?, it does work fine. Just don’t forget to have it with you as it can become a quick burden without it! I depend on mine a lot. It is almost always left plugged into my computer so it’s always ready to use.

    I bought so I could use an external USB drive with my new MacBook. It worked well and allowed me to charge my MacBook while it was backing up.

    Apple products are always of good quality, replaced after market one that didn't work well, apple products are pricey though
