This has been a godsend with the 12" Macbook. I use it almost everyday and it works like a charm. I haven't had any issues with it so far.

I needed to present off of my 12” MacBook. Only trust Apple dongles, I’ve had terrible experiences with 3rd party dongles.

I bought the Insignia brand first and had some issues. This one works like a champ without any issues. Costly but worth it.

It works perfectly. No issues with durability at this time. Only wish the cord was a little longer to avoid stress at the connection.

I considered some off brand models on amazon but found out they have some eject issues. No problems with the Apple model.

This adapter provides functionality to the newest MacBook Pro since it only has Thunderbolt 3 ports. Works as expected.

it's all you need for the new MacBook since it doesn't have and ports at all. I like I can plug in 2 phones at a time for charging.

I absolutely love this Apple USB-C Digital AV Multiport Adapter. It is compact in size, light weight, very sleek, and it works great.

It works as expected. Really a must add if you want to connect a cell phone or camera and want to be connected to a power source.

Works great for an external display and USB hard drive while keeping the unit on AC power.

So far this adapter works as it is supposed to. I haven't had any problems. I am glad I went with the original OEM Apple product. It's worth the extra cost.

As the new MacBook has just USB type-C port for the external wired connections, the Multiport Adapter turns out to be a must have device if you want/need to use existing USB cables and/or devices or would like to connect your MacBook to an external monitor. And it's definitely better (and cheaper) to have this all-in-one solution than buy separate adapters for USB and HDMI. Of course, you'd prefer to keep the type-C port to preserve the ability to have your MacBook running of the A/C while your have other devices wired to it. So, all above makes the Apple - USB-C Digital AV Multiport Adapter the best solution. Yes, it's rather costly, as almost every Apple product, but, as usual, you are paying for the quality and for the convenience of using it.

Needed something to connect my MacBook to a larger screen and this fit the bill. Also great to connect other items
