    My wife just got a new iPhone 15. Because the iPhone plugs changed to the usb-c plug in she needed the adapter to still work with her battery storage packs. Works great and serves it's purpose.

    We have a CarPlay dash receiver Pioneer (that had a lightning cable connection to the back). We thought about switching to a USB-C cable, but some family/friends have Apple products with lightning cables, and others have the newer USB-C ports on their Apple products. This adapter (high quality, great build with Nylon protection around the wire) is perfect; we didn't have to do any difficult installations (switching the cables) and now we can use the adapter whenever needed.

    Does not work for intended purchase. That was to play audio in vehicle via lightening cord connected to 30pin iPod cable. I am able to charge my phone, but not through the 30pin. Only when connected to wall charger or cigarette lighter plug. I would not recommend to purchase if intentions are to daisy chain super old tech to new tech and have full use.
