    I tried a couple of aftermarket adapters, and settled back to the genuine article with this one. It works much better than the others. The transfer rates and card ejection just works better.

    Due to having a MacBookPro with only USB-C ports and needing to read an SD card from my cameras this dongle works well. As always Apple branded products are not cheap but it does the job.
