On the new iMac there are 2 USB-C ports. I wanted to use one of these ports for my "Time Machine" external back-up drive. With this adapter, I was able to plug in my WD 8 TB drive, saving the other standard USB ports for other things. The adapter works perfect, is fast and reliable. Perfect.

does exactly what it's supposed to -- no complaints! i appreciate the shorter length/less wire clutter, as i'm mostly using it to plug in a thumb drive.

Works as expected. I use it with a USB dongle for a mouse. I have had no issues. Works everytime. Also have used it with a portable hard drive. Speed is good and it is typical Apple quality.

Bought this with hesitation since there are so many other products available that do the same thing. But since it was on sale it was cheaper than competitors and I always love Apple products over the competitors. Glad I went with this product, works flawlessly and I can tell it will last. Great product!

Works great, kind of pricey but does exactly what it is supposed to do! I use it to be able to listen to over-the-ear headphones on my ipad, which was necessary for a project I was working on. Couldnt have done it without it.

Being an Apple product, this adapter is known to work 100%. At the current, reduced price of $9, it is a real deal for accessing older USB devices with a MacBook Pro. Of course, if you buy one of the other adapters, it is not likely needed, but, I find it easier to pull this adapter out when traveling.

when you spend $2700 on a laptop, you would think that you would get EVERYTHING you need with that laptop, but you are buying Apple so you know that isn't the case. I am a huge fan of my purchase, and would do it again in a second. This is something you have to have, since most accessories haven't transitioned over to the USB C way of life yet, there will be a time in the future to where we will not need extra dongles, but this is 2018 and dongles are a way of life in the Apple World..... well if you are using their latest and greatest it is...

This Apple adapter does an excellent job of enabling me to connect flash drives and non-Wifi printers to my MacBook air. It is also easy to pack with the computer because of its compact size.

works as expected, using with new m1 Mac mini to connect an older usb A device and device works perfectly. actually surprised how robust this adapter is and how secure the physical connection to the computer is.

I had put off obtaining this Apple USB-C to USB Adapter - White color for my USB SuperDrive for viewing DVD's. I decided to purchase this product from you because your price was reasonable! I also did not want to order this product online although the pricing online was a little less expensive. I felt that if there were a problem with any of your products, I could go back to your Flushing, Queens New York store for a replacement. Although there was a slight delay due to slight stocking issues, I reserved this product for pick-up in your Flushing, Queens New York store. The product worked perfectly with my USB SuperDrive and all the DVDs played very well with it. Thank you so much for a fine product!

I have only owned this product for a month, but so far so good. It is pretty much the best add on you can get if you're buying a new Macbook Pro since they don't come with USB ports. So far, it's been excellent, and hopefully it'll last for a long time without the need to replace it.
