    When I purchased the latest MacBook I was unaware of the switch to USB C ports. Although other 3rd party companies make this cable I opted for the Apple cable to prevent warranty concerns.

    I got this for my wife's new MacBook Air that only has USB C ports. She is able to use older USB devices/drives for work now. A MUST HAVE accessory for any professional!

    Unfortunately this is a necessary evil for the new MacBook Pros. I suggest buying two for travel and a USB C dock with and ethernet port and HDMI port for home and work.

    Had to get this adapter since the macbook i got my wife didnt have usb ports which we didnt care, this adapter is not only cheap but works great and is small enough to have in on your pocket.

    This adapter enables me to connect my usb extender to my Mac without issue. I use it to connect my airpod charger and flash drive simultaneously. Absolutely a must have!

    The new MacBook Pro uses the new USB-C, so you will need an adapter if you still have things that uses USB to connect. You will need the Apple - USB-C-to-USB Adapter for a USB connection.

    This product is super east all you have to do is plug it in to the ipad and plug it in to the other usb and all your stuff comes onto the ipad, it's awesome!
