Quality Apple accessory, tight fit when plugging gadgets into the USB side. Works great especially if your device only has USB-C.

Since I got the new MacBook Pro and I had to get this cable to attach my USB devices. Wasn’t sure what to think about it but, it works great and I’m happy about my purchase

This is a must have if you have a MAC and want to access peripherals via USB. MACs only have a lightening port so this is a cost effective way to expand the MAC's functionality.

Works great for adapting my peripheral drives and devices from my old MacBook to use them with my new one.

Because I had my older mac book stolen, I had to buy a new mac. They have changed the inputs to the new type-c. I needed this to use all of my external accessories. Works great.

With the new Mac, that change a lot to it. We need this adapter to connect usb to usb-c. I haven’t use it yet but I know I’ll need it for school.... I think.

Small, thin Macs require this adapter to either use a USB or to use more than one USB. I wish my Mac did not require this - but the adapter works well.

Bought this item for an Apple SuperDrive 8x External USB Double-Layer DVD±RW/CD-RW Drive. Just in case the recipient needed one or needed an extra adapter for other Apple products

For us still bent on downloading music via CDs this little adapter is vital. I couldn't get my external CD/DVD drive to work by hooking it up to my multi-port external hub adapters I had to get a dedicated USB-C to USB 3.1 Gen 1 adapter which hooks the drive directly up to my Mac and not through my hub adapter. I believe the power pass-through port on the hub adapter is not sufficient to power my external CD/DVD drive so I run the drive directly from one of my USB-C ports on my Mac. Works fine...

this is a must buy item, just goahead and get it and save yourself a trip back to the store , this is the future plug and only way to connect your older usbs to the laptop

This product works. The one thing I don’t like is the fact that I bought a MacBook Pro which I love to replace my old MacBook. This adapter should have been included in the purchase of the new computer. I fill like Apple is nickel and diming it’s customers by not including those type of adapters with the new computer.

Purchased this so I could easily download pics from my camera to my phone. I actually have 3 of them. Keep one in each camera bag.

It is helpful to have this when transferring data from my computer to the Zip drive. Didn’t realize it existed, but also hope Mac will have its own Zip drives.

Works great to hook up USB devices to my iMac book

My biggest frustration with Apple products is having to buy different adaptors when I upgrade. Found one that fits my new MacBook so I don't have to buy a new printer! Thank goodness.
