A must have since Apple believes it is a good idea to not have any USB ports on their Macs.

Works great! Was able to offload bunch of pix and data files to usb flash drive to free up space on both my iPhone and iCloud capacity.

This is an Apple product, therefore high quality is expected and most importantly it works. I use a wireless mouse that requires an USB port for the sensor. I’ve bought 3 other generic USB C adapter/hubs and all didn’t work with the MacBook.

I recently bought a Mac and was worried about having to buy multiple adapters however, this item is small and easy to carry with me on the go. Works well with all USB ports (chargers, USBs, external hard drive adapters).

I bought this one first and liked it. but when I needed a second adapter, the people at Best Buy told me the insignia was made just as well and it worked just as well. And it does. You can buy the Apple, ot you could buy two of the insignia models for roughly the same price.

it was a little annoying to have to purchase this because of changes made to apple computers- seems like a way to generate more money but what can I do? I needed the adapter to use USB flash drives, etc. It works as described and no issues so far.

Great for IPads! Just plug it in, then plug in your flash drive. Very simple to use, and so handy. Everything on the flash is accessible from my PC. So happy to have found this!

Gets the job done with typical Apple quality (and price.) Needed it to connect a CD/DVD burner to my laptop that only contains USB-C ports. Works great and feels high quality.

This is precisely what I needed to use my usb drives with my new MacBook. It is solidly built and has no trouble working with any of my peripherals. The only downside is that you need it in the first place, but you should know and understand that before buying the laptop to begin with.

I bought another USB adapter but had to return it due to unstable connections. This USB adapter is easy to use and compatible to my Mac. Love it and highly recommend it.

Good quality, unless you require the "advanced" work of the cords, it's overpriced. if the speed and consistency of the connection are important, this is a good buy.

This item is a must if you have accesories that pre-date the USB-C domination. Which is still today as we speak. Keyboards are still sold with the ubiquitous USB type A connector. I went even further back in time, with my trusty Belkin PS/2 to USB adapter which then connects to this USB-C adapter and I'm typing this review right now with my Cherry PS/2 mechenical keyboard with borwn switches which feel so good and tactile. Apple computers with a mechanical keyboards and an Apple Magic Trackpad is perfection right there.

Until the world completely switches to USB-C you will need one of thees for your Mac. I have tried many cheaper versions (let's face it, all of Apples's stuff is expensive) but this really is the best.

This little adapter is priceless when you need it. I bought it for a project that I was working on and it has worked flawlessly for me and it’s made to last, if you treat it with reasonable care. It’s not overpriced for the important function it provides.

Came in handy when using any USB-c to USB new Apple products. Very dependable, easy to use, have had for many months now with no issues. Would buy again when needed!

this product works as advertised - allows me to connect usb 2.0&3.0 cables to my new macbook which has usb-c ports. the cable is somewhat stiff because it is only about 3 inches long. it would be nice if apple would make a usb-usbc converter that stuck right into the port without any extra cables to mess with. but overall good quality and does what i expected it to do.

Simple and does what it’s supposed to do. Easy to plug in on laptop and accessories. I use it mainly for my printer, external storage, and card readers. Sturdy and good quality materials.
