It works really well, not sure what else you can say about it really its built well and the short cable means theres less pull on the macbook from whatever your plugging in. Great little gadget. I think its very necessary for anyone who owns a Macbook which only uses USB-C.

Great USB-C to USB adapter, works amazing with apple products. I use this adapter in a daily basis with no problem, I highly recommend this product to any one that owns a apple Mac Pro computers.

It seems that Apple is starting to head to the exclusive use of USB C cables. I have many regular USB items that needed the correct conversion. This cable works well, small and has always worked. No complaints. Buy it, you’ll be happy.

Purchased to allow charging of my Magic Mouse from my MacBook Pro. I have read reviews on the multi-connection adapters that include HDMI, etc and they seem to have issues. Perhaps because this only has the USB function the other issues are not bought along. Overall it works as advertised and I have not had any connection issues while using it. Four stars because I am still annoyed that I have to buy yet another adapter to carry around.

We recently updated our home computer from a 2011 iMac. The new iMac has only USBC inputs. In order to connect all existing devices that only have USB A plugs, we needed an adapter. This does the job. I can connect Garmin watch, Garmin navigator, digital cameras or any other devices. Although our printer is on a WiFi network, I keep it connected with a cord that only has a USB A end for the computer. That way, I keep a connection even if there is a WiFi issue. When I need to connect a device for updating, I already have the adapter hooked up and merely substitute the device’s cord for the printer’s cord.

This little adapter is priceless when you need it. I bought it for a project that I was working on and it has worked flawlessly for me and it’s made to last, if you treat it with reasonable care. It’s not overpriced for the important function it provides.

I love a good dongle. Who doesn’t, am I right? But the most important thing for any dongle is that it works...that it’s well made and does what it’s supposed to do. Other guys’ dongles? Lots of promises and features and doo-dads. But they come up short. All sizzle, no steak. Not this big guy. This is the biggest, baddest dongle you’ve ever laid your hands on. It doesn’t try to lure you in with empty promises and weird stuff. It lays it out for you plain and simple. “I take USB stuff and make it do USB-C stuff.” And then it does. Don’t settle for an inferior dongle that can’t give you what you need. Trust Tim Cook. He’s bout that dongle life.

Essential to read/write files from flash drive and/or hard drive on iOS system. Functionality with an iPad is seamless in the files app, makes working from home a breeze.

Its your basic connection that is able to connect any usb to your usb-c connector. printer, camera, or external hard drive. Quality feels high as expected from Apple and looks like it will last if taken care of.

Apple products to Apple products. That’s what I prefer. Look I try my best not to mix match. My outlook is very simple stay with one you can only blame one. I have iPhone, iPad, MacBook Air simple. They all talk to one another simple. All the same company and all same company cables simple. Even though I bought the cable from Best Buy, Apple will step in and replace if I need them to. That’s what I call customer service. Try that with Google, Facebook, or any other of those android companies. I recommend this and ANY other Apple product I have purchased any day of the week above anything. Apple products for the most part are just very good quality.
