Its your basic connection that is able to connect any usb to your usb-c connector. printer, camera, or external hard drive. Quality feels high as expected from Apple and looks like it will last if taken care of.

Apple products to Apple products. That’s what I prefer. Look I try my best not to mix match. My outlook is very simple stay with one you can only blame one. I have iPhone, iPad, MacBook Air simple. They all talk to one another simple. All the same company and all same company cables simple. Even though I bought the cable from Best Buy, Apple will step in and replace if I need them to. That’s what I call customer service. Try that with Google, Facebook, or any other of those android companies. I recommend this and ANY other Apple product I have purchased any day of the week above anything. Apple products for the most part are just very good quality.

This adapter works great with my new Mac book! This works great to connect with my printer also.

I have a USB mic that needed to be adapted to USB-C to connect to my MacBook. This asap did exactly that. Also, it seems to support the faster usb- bandwidth so the audio was crisp and clear with no drop out. Great adapter doing what it’s supposed to do.

This adapter still works great after a great deal of use. It's not long and bulky to get in the way and has worked flawlessly every time. I recommend this product

Decided to spend a couple extra dollars and get Apple brand adapter. Worth it. Solid, no glitches, using with new M1 MacBook for backup drive and other USB devices Solid!

I needed this adapter in order to download photos from my Canon camera to my new computer. It works perfectly well and I received the item within 24 hours.

OEM cord. Functions as it should. No breakage or other problems with consistent use. I’ve used this cord to link multiple devices including my iPhone. I would get this one again instead of a knock off brand. It’s worth the extra money.

My only complaint is that one should have been included with the laptop as this item isn't just a want with the new MacBook. It's a need. It's basically how you make you macbook talk to usb devices. Without it or after market accessories like it connecting to external devices would not be possible.

This is a great product to carry around for the price. While it only allows one connection, it is perfect for travel and quick use. I use my computer sporadically so I didn't need anything that had additional ports or the need of an SD card slot.

Had to get it to use my MacBook with a usb and mainly everything has usb but they just want you to spend More money that’s ok it was not super expensive had it for a couple weeks so far hope it last a long time

After purchasing the latest MacAir, I needed a way to use regular USB attachments. This has proven to be a great accessory. As in some other reviews, it started out very tight and was afraid to force the connection until I read that others had the same issue. No problem anymore.

I was having some trouble with my non-Apple USB adapters and communication with a USB microphone. I bought this as an open box and it was a reasonable value. The drawback is that this version doesn't include the ability to pass-through power (like the lighting version) without upgrading to a much more expensive AV model that includes either HDMI or VGA connections as well. Using it with my iPad Pro during video conferencing, I've come to realize how quickly the battery drains in the iPad under that load. I wish this had power passthrough and a 3.5 mm audio jack for use on the iPad Pro - but for the open box price, it works well and reliability to connect USB-A devices.

High quality USB-A to USB-C adapter, as expected from Apple. This is a necessity, as the new MacBook Pro does not have any USB-A ports built-in.

Great adapter that is easy to use, easy to carry with you, and great if you are upgrading to newer computers and still use the old style USB dongles.
