Don't get caught without it if your new computer only accepts USB-C . . . you will inevitably need one of these.

Way to connect a camera to a USB-C type iPad

Turns out I didn't even need this - all I really needed was an ordinary USB B to C cable. However, this should allow her to connect her camera to the new iPad Pro if she desires (she also has an iPad mini.)

Great Adapter!

One uses mini A USB to USB-A. the other is USB 3.0 Micro B to USB-A. Both work great. I have also used my Garmin 2597 with this adapter. Took some experimenting but I finally got the MacBook to recognize the Garmin once I removed the micro SD card from the Garmin. So, if your trying to connect a Garmin GPS don't forget to remove the micro SD card prior to attempting to update the GPS. Highly recommend to all!!!

Plug the USB-C end of the adapter into the USB-C port on your MacBook, and then connect your flash drive, camera or other standard USB device. I like these so much I have like 15 of these when the were on sale. I need this usb-c dongles for the several devices I use and didn't want to have to keep switching from device to device.
