This adapter is a must have to properly convert USB formats. It is simple, lightweight and durable.

The USB-C to USB adapter works flawlessly and is a very good accessory for connecting to the older USB technology. I recommend it.

I purchased two of these in order to adapt all my USB's to my new MacBook Pro. No work around outside of non Apple products which may or may not work on my new purchase. I did find a product made by Belkin which provided 3 USB's, SSD disk reader, ethernet connection and the new Thunderbolt connection as well, which I also purchased and have had great success. Combining all, gives me 6 options to connect to my new Mac, which I am now good with.

While it’s unfortunate to need this piece , it will make your life sooo much easier having it! If you have an apple device this is a must and will always be a blessing to have :)

As with Apple products, great quality. Easy to use when transferring Data/pics with iPhone.

Purchased this to use with my wife's new iPad Pro to connect to our Yamaha CSP-170 instead of the more expensive media apdater from Apple. Turns out I didn't even need this - all I really needed was an ordinary USB B to C cable. However, this should allow her to connect her camera to the new iPad Pro if she desires (she also has an iPad mini.)

It works well. No problems so far, although I do switch them between multiple devices so I'm hoping it will still hold up.

I have the new MAC laptop that has USB-C ports. I needed to charge my Magic Mouse 2 so I purchase this product. I've had no problems with the adapter, it works for my purpose. I have not hooked a disk drive yet. The apple adapters seem to be very well made.

The adapter works well to adapt the different types of cable ends, so you can still use your old cables with this adapter, and you don't have to spend more money buying a full-sized cable to meet your needs.

I recently migrated from a Windows laptop to a new MACBOOK PRO and quickly discovered that the only output ports on the new machine were all USB-C. With tons of connectors/dongles for all kinds of devices, I was immediately concerned that I'd have to buy all new connectors for this new source. Thankfully, most of my other dongles work when connected to this USB-C to USB connector, so the migration was not as painful as I had feared. This turned out to be a very useful and low cost solution to that issue.

decided to spend a few more bucks and grab the apple usb adaptor and it was worth it. easy to use, and super fast
