Most remote keyboards & mouse still use standard USB port/ plug in. Allows you to connect to Mac laptop port (only USB-C)

It’s not overly bulky and doesn’t heat up like some other adapters I’ve tried.

Apple USB-C-to-USB adapter review

I needed to charge my Magic Mouse 2 so I purchase this product. I've had no problems with the adapter, it works for my purpose. I have not hooked a disk drive yet. The apple adapters seem to be very well made.

Ideal connector for USB-C to USB connectivity
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I recently migrated from a Windows laptop to a new MACBOOK PRO and quickly discovered that the only output ports on the new machine were all USB-C. With tons of connectors/dongles for all kinds of devices, I was immediately concerned that I'd have to buy all new connectors for this new source. Thankfully, most of my other dongles work when connected to this USB-C to USB connector, so the migration was not as painful as I had feared. This turned out to be a very useful and low cost solution to that issue.

Works as expected and is Apple quality.

Designed well, solid build, and meets USB 3.1 spec. Only thing is, while this is small and neat for throwing in your laptop bag, it's only one USB-A port. If you want more connections, look into a hub or a dock, especially a powered one if you want the high performance.
