After 12 1/2 years with a MacBook Pro computer that was truly a MacTruck of a laptop, I had to buy a new laptop. My new computer, a MacBook Air, has USB-C ports for peripheral devices. I purchased this adapter from Best Buy even before my computer arrived. It works perfectly with my printer, scanner, external hard drive, etc. to pair these devices to my new mini MacTruck laptop!

when I found out the macbook i received as a gift did not have an adapter. I was frustrated and it does not come with the macbook! I guess that is Apple's issue. Since it is easy to use I don't mind it because I always carry my laptop bag. My only fear is that I lose it. I also bought it when it was $20 and it dropped to $10 twenty one days later and I could not price match. Another bummer. I would recommend since you have no choice if you want to use an adapter.

Yes, this is a necessity for the new Apple MacBook Pro's. Some will say not another Dongle but this one you can leave attached to the USB cable and use your USB peripherals straight out. Whats better then others. Believe it or not the color White. Yes, you can spot it easily in your bags. All other cables are usually black and will hide effectively unless you have an organizer. The second best thing. Apple finally is not charging $29 for an adapter.

This product was exactly what I was looking for. Although I have a docking station with a bunch of other connectors, I also wanted something small, more portable and easy to use. So easy, in fact that I bought two of them - I do a lot of storage onto other drives, to keep the laptop as pristine as possible - you might see me in the store buying at least one more!

I leave this in my carryon now so next time I travel i won’t forget it at home. I use this for my iPad and the SD and micro SD card slots are the only things I need.

It’s a USB to USB C adapter. Slots in very snug, in a good way. Works perfectly. No complaints. Well, I mean, it’s not worth 20 bucks but it’s still a high quality item. Gotta pay that Apple tax…

I purchased this with my new MacBook because it uses the USB-C ports, in order to plug in my thumbdrives and other accessories. However, I discovered that the Samsung Tablet A I had bought a couple months before also used a USB-C port (I had thought it was just a new kind of Android plug). This meant I can use this adapter to plug thumb drives directly into my tablet to transfer files- very handy!

Apple makes great products which is why they are very reliable. Using this to power my Sony Radio for my car has been smooth and with no issues. Knowing that everything will work smoothly with my Apple device is reassuring.
