Very needed, last long and is very useful for anyone with a Apple laptop.

Works very well never had an issue. The price is a little steep you can get others for cheaper but this is an apple product so not shocked.

Must have for working with older peripherals. I used this specifically working with Bootcamp.

This adapter is a lifesaver to use with my 13 inch 2020 MacBook Air. Since these laptops no longer have a USB connection, it does have an available usb-C - so I can still use my items that require a USB! Thanks Apple & Best Buy for making these readily available. Plus my online ordering experience and curbside pickup was so easy!

What else is there to say. It's a USB C adapter that allows you to use a more common USB A device with your MacBook. Insert and use. Simple! DO NOT REMOVE WITHOUT EJECTING DEVICE FIRST!! There is a risk of damaging or losing the data on your device if you don't do this properly!

Reliable and easy to take with. USB 3 flash drives are the only peripheral I use with this adapter.

I had to get this USB C to USB adapter for my MacBook, it does the job, it's small and easy to carry around.

It does the job. I own a few of these, as my Mac only has USB-C ports. It works with all sorts of devices, external hard drives, thumb drives, iPhone, etc. Whatever the (USB 2/3) device you connect to the computer is supposed to do, this adaptor helps it do it.

Bought a newer macbook and noticed that the newer ones don’t carry a usb option no more, basically it’s just adapters now. I was so used to the older macbooks with usb, hdmi, etc, but I went to bestbuy and bought this adapter, yeah it’s wierd, at least for me to use it every time I want to plug in a usb device, but it does it’s job. It works great so far, flawlessly... and when you think about it you wont be using this adapter like every day, unless you run a business or something like that. I basically use it for iPhone multimedia, external hard drive backups. this 2017 macbook i bought I believe is super fast compared to my 2011 I had. The transfer rate on this usb 3 man it’s amazing. Good thing this adapter is usb 3 supported, around 16 GB of files transfer in less than a minute. I remembered when I used to take 10 min or more. I recommend it without a doubt. I stick with Apple products for my macbook, I know it wont fail, Apple makes quality products.

Until Apple (and other device peripherals) fully switch over to USB-C, I like to keep 2-3 of these handy at any time. I keep one sitting in front of my computer and one in my laptop bag in case I need it at any time. It's come in handy several times!

I know there’s probably cheaper knock offs that will do the same thing. But when it comes to dongles I only ever buy Apple products. It gives me the peace of mind knowing they will last a very long time. Sometimes going the cheaper route might seem like a good idea at first because you’re saving a quick buck but in the long run Apple products tend to last and outlast the knock offs.

An every mac user should have. Very light, handy and easy to use.
