    I could have purchased a third party brand for this type of adaptor but I felt more comfortable paying a little extra for the Apple brand name because I know from past experience that it is a high quality and reliable product. I use this adaptor for my memory card from my DSLR camera and so far there are no problems.

    Small and light. Pricey but it's a quality made adapter. Better than the others - OEM. Works great but not user friendly. Must use force to plug and unplugged (USB device) so you Better Eat Your Wheaties.

    As a business owner, I am always on the go with my laptop and handling work that needs to be done. I purchased a new MacBook and did not realize that the USB ports changed. Haha. Luckily, a friend recommended this item to me, and I am on the move! Love this!

    Works as advertised and expected on my M1 Macbook Air laptop - even plugged a USB 1/2 thumb drive into the end of this dongle, and it mounted right up on my macOS Ventura desktop, ready to go.

    Does what you think it does. No problem whatsoever. I used this for a superdrive CD-ROM on a newer Mac. No problem. Also used with a studio quality microphone. Also no problem.

    This is a must have for MacBook owners. I have a lot of hardware that I use for recording podcasts, and for using my external hard drive, and this is compatible with any USB that needs to connect to Thunderbolt drives. So if you own a MacBook with Thunderbolt drives, you need to buy one of these!!

    This has saved me in sooo many ways with my MacBook Pro. My older printer along with a Presentation Clicker Remote...basically anything that has a USB end attaches and works well! Just plug it in and voila, it works. I'm loving it.

    Ive tried other USB adapters and honestly they’ve all broken, although this only has 1 adapter and nothing else, apples build quality is great, tight and secure ive had no issues at all with it
