    The new MacBook Pro's are great. 4 thunderbolt 3 ports do require adaptors for almost everything. I use this for usb obviously but also to contact my iPhone. Works fine.

    I am finally able to use my SuperDrive again after researching that only the Apple branded adapters support the DVD burner. The ridiculously unpractical move Apple made years ago to switch solely to USB-C that we all still suffer from can be cheaply rectified with this adapter. But it should be much cheaper.

    I had just purchased my first MacBook Pro after being a windows user. For that reason, everything I own is USB. This was definitely a necessary purchase. I bought it a bit impulsively and wish I would’ve got the one with the 3 outputs instead of just one, but regardless, it was a necessity.

    Needed an adapter to be able to use the external hard drive we bought for our daughter. It's a shame that Apple made their laptops have a silly connector port so it you have to waste money on an adapter, but this one works fine if you have to buy one.

    I bought a new MACbook AIR and realized it didn't have the typical USB port for a mouse. I found this adapter at Best Buy and plugged Ione end into the MAC port, with the other end plugged into the mouse USB . It works fine and there was basically no setup required other than plugging it in.

    This little gadget is a definite must have for the Apple MacBook Air. I didn't have much experience with this particular laptop but in choosing it this adapter was a recommended accessory. So I purchased it and was certainly glad I did! I've used it many times just in the first few weeks I've had my MacBook.

    When I got my MacBook Pro I had originally purchased the cheap $8 adapter and I lost it all the time and it only lasted me about 8 months before I had to throw it away. I gave in and bought this have loved it ever since! I haven’t had any problems with it yet and it makes my life so much easier.
