I'm an Apple fan, so you can't get me to say too much about them that's negative. Everything works better when everything is an approved attachment. Some people don't care for the prices, but in the end, it will last way longer then an off market item. My personal experience.

Works as intended. Bought tis at time I purchased my new Mac. Later I found smaller versions, but wanted at least one Apple made adapter cause you never know when buying third party adapters.

Works seamlessly however hate paying so much for something that comes standard on other computers.

If you're Apple user, this product does what you need it to - it allows you to use a USB with newer Apple computers. Inserting the USB male end into the female end of the adapter is not effortless but once you're able to finagle it in there, it works.

You are going to need this little adapter. With everything turning to USB-C and all your hardware is USB. This adapter helps with all that kind of transition. My SuperDrive will not work without it.

USB-C is a beautifully quick connection. Mixed with the speeds of the newer Apple laptops, the connection truly transfers like lightning, moving gigabytes of data in seconds. Fantastic for backing up a hard disk, let alone the simplicity of transferring movie or music files quickly.

If you've got a new Apple MacBook Pro retina that uses USB-C only, this is the No. 1 tool you must carry. I keep it in my laptop sleeve with the computer on the road and on the desk at home for immediate use. I do have a multifunction dongle as well, but find myself using this way more often.

This is a necessity for those of you with the newer MacBook Pro if you want to use basically anything else with a standard USB connection. It is well made and I think nicer than the off brand model at half the price. If you're dropping the $$$$ on a nice MBP, you can certainly drop $19.99 for this adapter.

Did exactly what I wanted it to do. Got power from the USB-C connection to the USB device so it could charge. Either flashlight or Bose Headphones

Game Changer for bridging usb to c. adapter for older laptops

I really only needed this because I still didnt have a USB C charger, but if you need it get it, it works its great, if not you can live without it. Also if you work on your laptop for a job hence a headset, youll absolutely need this.

Perfect solution for my MacBook! Never had a way to attach my Logitech keyboard and mouse.

Wife had thousands of pictures on old iPhones and was afraid to lose them, bought this for her and she was able to transfer all of them to her MacBook.

A must have when connecting the older USB-A accessories to a newer computer with USB-C ports unless one uses a dock or hub. A definite requirement when using Apple's Super CD/DVD drive which must be connected directly to the computer.
