I purchased a new Macbook Pro and, the great news is, it comes with 4 USB ports! However Apple, in its usual style, changed the connection from the standard USB to USB c - so none of my flash drives would connect. This adapter is a lifesaver for those of us who need to connect old flash drives / external back ups to the new Macbook Pro! I spent the extra money and bought the Apple adapter with the USB port as i knew this would increase the likelihood that it would work 'trouble free' . . . . And, so far, this has worked flawlessly and I have had no issues using it. If you are in the same situation as i am, and need an adapter to use USB products, this is the perfect solution!

This adapter has held up well so far. I haven't had any issues using it with multiple USB devices. It stays attached well and has been sturdy enough to make it thrown in my work bag for a few months now.

I love this Apple USB-C to USB Adapter and it is easy to set up and use. It is super helpful being able to use a seperate keyboard and mouse instead of only having my MacBook Air keypad. Definitely recommend!

My Apple decided not to put a USB 3.0 on the MacBook Air, I don't know, so an adapter is necessary. This works well for my needs. Now I can plug in a thumb drive, computer, other peripheral or a USB Hub and plug them all in at the same time. Has worked perfectly for my current needs, although I am looking at some different for when I travel for photography.

With the speeds that USB-C offers, you should use a good quality cord to max out the connection. With all the sellers out there, how do you know which one is good? You should be able to trust Apple. However, do you really need all that speed? So you could use a cheaper one to accomplish everyday transfers. But, you do need a good one every now and then, so get one and buy it on sale like I did.

Work’s beautiful. It adapts anything with an output usb port. It never disconnects and kind of locks so it doesn't fall out or anything. It’s sturdy and well put together. For $20 Id say its worth it. I would buy 6 of them if I could!

Apple - USB-C-to-USB Adapter - White. I bought this to connect my computer to my phone. This adapter enables me to 'backup' photos, music. I prefer Apple products to 3rd party for peace of mind with quality. Works exactly as expected. Great product. I would highly recommend to everyone.

Exactly what I needed. I needed to replace a generic version of this adapter, this version is far superior.

The connector is of good quality and it connects very easily and gives good quality video/display

I love this little device but hate that I need it! I have so many standard usb accessories that I couldn’t use on my new MacBook Pro since it only has usb type c ports. This one device lets me use my usb devices easily and is durable enough to last for years to come. It would be nice if apple included one of these in each MacBook purchase as they are well aware you will more than likely need it often.

It works perfectly with my other charger cords. Now I can use the old and the new configurations to recharge my computers and phone.

My Apple adapter is small, compact and easy to use, it allows me to connect to all of my devices quickly and easily for downloads ect.

Adapter works well. Would be nice if there was a version of this with a longer cord.
