    This adapter is a basic need to connect your MacBook Air (or other Apple Products) to USB-C products. I honestly wish Apple included this piece when you purchase one of their laptops/computers.

    USB adapter for MacBook purchased bc the Apple cd/dvd external drive doesn’t read when u plug into the external port. The external port u plug all your wires into the wire has worked perfect for the situation I was in

    Nice adapter that brings the old to the new. With the new thunderbolt inputs an adapter is needed to bring all of your older items with you. This one is a great fit and I would recommend it when you buy the MacBook.

    It's kind of silly we need to buy this but it's a must have for your MacBook. We are farrrrrrr away from getting rid of regular USB plugs so just invest in this when buying your laptop already.

    This is must have accessory for MacBook Pro. Apple should include this as free with MacBook Pro. But buying BestBuy open box is still good way to save on accessories which I’m first place you shouldn’t require to purchase.

    I purchased an Apple DVD/CD rom player/recorder. The adapter that came with it did not fit any of the ports on my MacBook Pro. I purchased this adapter, plugged it in and everything worked great!

    This is necessary for any USC devices to connect with my Macbook Pro. While I don't agree that we should have to purchase these, unfortunately Apple doesn't give you much of a choice. You'll definitely need it.

    I bought this cable so I could still use my external hard drives and also CDDVD read write drive. Sadly Apple has removed basic USB and HDMI ports ( you would need another cable for the HDMI ) Go for it, or miss out.

    Get the Apple cord for Apple products and it will do what you want it to do. Great service from the Best Buy staff in helping me find the proper adapter.
