    Works great, just wish I didn't need to purchase this. Macbooks should have a USB plug in on them. Apple has to make things difficult for everyone.

    If you have an Apple laptop with only USB C ports this little fella is your friend. Rather than re-cabling all of that USB 2/3 gear, just get an adapter and plug in a USB 3 hub to run it all. That way you also only have one thing to unplug.

    I got this adapter to use with My Passport- external hard drive for my MacBook Pro on the advice of Best Buy clerk. I can also use it for any other devices like a DVD writer.

    Great feature I like the fact that you can attach things only when you need them. I have a Macbook pro with several ports. USB. Card reader and since I dont use them all the time it makes sence to only have one port and save space on makbook size

    It is a must have cable if you have only USB-C connectors on your laptop. No sit is yet set up with USB-C to USB-C. I went to the apple store and bought two more for maybe twice the price.
