    Bought this to help in setup of a Retina MacBook Air. No problems at all. Plugged in standard USB 2 external disk to transfer files and was quickly done. Now using that same disk as Time Machine backup.

    A necessity for the newer model MacBook Pro's. Works great for what it is. Tried two of the cheaper versions. Apple was the only one that worked reliably for me.

    I needed an adapter to connect my iPhone and other peripherals. This dongle seem to accomplish what i was after. You'll still need your iPhones' cable that is used to charge phone normally to be able to connect to this adapter.

    This is a dongle that converts USB-C To Normal USB. I can now hook up all of my other peripherals that have standard USB cables. Next I will have to buy the Thunderbolt 3 to FireWire Adapter because I bought a 2016 Macbook Pro 15" and it only has USB-C ports that are compatible with only USB Type C and Thunderbolt 3. Only 4 stars because I am so angry at apple for not including USB Type A in the new MBP

    So convenient when you have the mac computer it works really good all I have to do is connect it to the computer and you’ll be able to connect any usb

    This is the only way to go you can hook up a device, charge at the same time. If you only get the charger you must wait. This way you can do more things at once. It is well worth the money. It gives you all the flexibility you want and need.

    The looking is slick. Of course, it would be better not to need to use, but for now, I guess the best choice for the newest MacBook USB type-C. For the safe use, I chose this one instead of a multiple port one. Working satisfying.
