    Apple accessories are always a little overpriced but I can never say they are crappie or don't fit right. Generally wish they would be a little more giving by lengthening the cables some. Yeah I know it's an adapter!

    It’s a dongle. It does exactly what it needs to do, but is goofy it’s not included with the MacBook.

    Apparently the newest Macs changed the USB port to a USBc port which is smaller so you need to purchase this adapter if you want to use anything that uses a USB port. The product works well, I use it all the time!!!

    I ordered a lower profile one on Amazon, which I got to work, but was a constant hassle and disconnected randomly and didn't appear in finder. This one worked perfectly from the start.

    Does the job, simple plug in and play, nothing else needed. Apple is slick because you HAVE to buy this if you have anything to use on your MacBook Pro with an older USB

    As you may know, the new MacBook comes with just the USB C port and a headphone jack. If you want to plug in any older USB device (thumb drive, external hard drive, etc.), you'll need this adapter. It works as advertised.

    It's an adapter to connect USB devices to my mac, and that's exactly what it does! I can connect my iphone now to my mac to back it up and it does exactly what I need it to.

    I bought this charging cord as a gift for a friend after she got the 2016 Macbook Pros and couldn't charge her phone with the USB-type A charging cord the phone originally came with. This cord just makes things easier.

    It's works great, doesn't need to do much. Just dumb that it is sold separately from the MacBook. Apple, if you sell a computer for $1,600 and drop ports, at least have the pretty necessary USB adapter in the box with the MacBook.

    Item is a requirement if you purchase a new MacBook Pro that uses the USB-C connection. Avoid buying the cheap knockoffs because they just fall apart
