This is my first Apple Watch and so far I am completely satisfied, as usual with Apple products. Seemless connectivity and plenty of options to customize. After purchasing a more feminine band I now wear my Apple Watch everyday. I haven’t noticed a terrible drain on my battery and I stream music for hours at a time. I love the little nudges I receive regarding healthy habits.

I love my Apple Watch. I purchased it so that I could hike safely outdoors and be able to listen to music, keep track of my vital signs, and also be reached if there was an emergency. I use it for all of my exercising, and it's nice to not pull my phone out of my pocket to check the time! Great purchase!

My wife and i replaced our original Apple watches with the Apple Watch 3 with LTE this year. While we were satisfied with our gen 0 watches, the model 3 provides quite an upgrade. 1) It's waterproof. Since i use my watch as a fitness tracker, i don't have to worry about getting it wet when running, cycling or kayaking. Same with household chores 2) Apps load and run much faster than the Gen 0 3) LTE means i don't need to carry my phone with me on runs or bike rides. GPS tracking works, i can stream music and don't have to worry about missing important phone calls. 4) Improved battery life. That said, a 1 hour run using Runkeeper to record my run and the music app to stream a playlist can consume around 20% of the battery life.

I waited and waited and waited to buy my Apple Watch.... didn't know if I really would need it or use it to justify the cost. But I LOVE it. I can now go running without carrying my phone - just my watch and my Apple airpods and I'm good. And I could even stop at Starbucks and call an uber if I ran too far and got stuck because I have both apps on my phone! Definitely a learning curve - but so worth it (I got the 3G cellular).

First, I bought this watch during Labor Day Weekend, for $75 off and 6 mths interest free financing through Best Buy. Second, what a fun watch! I got the series 3 Gps, Cellular and it has so many cool features too numerous to list. It is easy to set up and easy to learn if you're an iPhone user. My husband wants one now.

I needed a heart rate monitor for training- did a lot of research- and decided on Apple Watch because it does that and 2 deciding factors: I can touch a symbol and my phone “pings”- if it is in the same place. Awesome when it is hiding under papers- in the side of the sofa- in a purse... Secondly I love it being a cell phone- I row in nature and don’t want to bring phone in boat- if I am in distress I can call 911 or friends from my watch. I have received calls while on water from Europe- that cracked me up.

Cannot believe what it can do! Better question would be what can’t it do. It’s a pleasure not having to have my cell phone always on my person. I still get and make phone calls. I can still get and receive texts. And it has so many other features to help me stay healthy.

I bought this for my girlfriend and she loves it. Wears it everywhere, uses it for music, and takes calls on it all the time. Will get myself one soon, but even at this price, it wears like many high priced standalone watches.

Honestly unless using it for runs without a phone I'm not sure how much use it has as most people don't go anywhere without their phone. I've recently started training for a half marathon and as the weather gets warmer I don't have pockets to put my phone into. I don't like carrying my phone and the arm band bothers my skin, so I checked out the apple watch. It's honestly great as it has a GPS and phone services in case of emergency. Running feels SO. MUCH. BETTER. The GPS is fairly accurate and the battery life is pretty good. I generally take it off when I shower every night and charge it then, even if I don't I've had it last about 2 days before it died.

I really like the ability to not have to carry my phone during jogs as I added the cellular service to this watch for $10 a month through Verizon. Watch is great, however notice for longer jogs, over an hour, the battery dies, especially when using it connected to my beats without my phone present. Other than that, there is not a day that goes by that I’m without my watch.

Enjoy it, despite a couple flaws

Since I have a Boost Mobile phone, I knew that I wouldn't be able to use this watch with the cellular plan (unless something changes with Boost in the future to allow it), but at the time of my purchase the sale price of the GPS+Cellular option was significantly cheaper than the GPS only model, so I figured it made sense to buy this model, and just use it without the cellular option, and save some money. Bought this to incentivize myself to get up and be more active. To that end, it works well! I enjoy the hourly 'stand' notifications, prompting me to get up and move around every hour. It's easy to get wrapped up in homework, or reading, and forget to get up and move around. I also enjoy the challenge of closing my activity rings, as it gives me a daily goal to achieve. Being able to see and respond to text messages, Facebook messages, and phone calls has turned out to be even handier than I'd anticipated. I keep my phone put away while I'm at work, but having this watch allows me the opportunity to quickly, and discreetly, respond to messages without looking unprofessional or taking me away from my work duties. I didn't particularly like the sports band that came with the watch as it was kind of scratchy and uncomfortable. However, I hadn't intended on using the band anyway, as I'd ordered a rainbow metallic magnetic band off from an online site the same day I ordered this watch. As far as the functionality of this watch's activity tracker, that's where the flaws come in. While the 'Stand' loop works well and has no issues, the exercise tracker has serious issues. You can't adjust the number of minutes that you want as your exercise goal, as it is stuck at 30 minutes daily. That's okay, as I am fine with exceeding the 30 minute daily goal on the way to reaching my daily calorie, or 'move', goals. However, the watch does not accurately track exercise at all. It works great when I'm puttering around my house, which has highspeed wifi, but as soon as I leave the house, it flounders. I average about 1 minute per every 5 to 8 minutes of exercise. It's not a matter of heart rate, as my heart rate stays up over the 'brisk walk' threshold throughout my workout. If I go for a long, brisk, walk outside for an hour, I'm lucky if it tracks 5 minutes of that walk. If I go for an hour long bike ride, it tracks maybe 15 to 25 minutes of it, 35 on a good day. I've looked this issue up on Google and have seen numerous complaints of similar issues across many different discussion boards, so I know this is a consistent issue across the board. I can go into the Apple Health app and plug in my workouts through there and it, usually, will then update my exercise ring to reflect my actual exercise minutes (I say, 'usually', because sometimes that glitches also and either doesn't update my activity rings, or it skips the 'end time' to the next day, which then makes it look as though I exercised for over 20 hours straight!). It's more than a little frustrating that a device that costs this much would have such a glaring flaw, that so many have voiced complaints about, and Apple seems to just ignore those complaints. However, despite that irritation, I am keeping the watch as it still serves to motivate me to keep moving and active, and the additional features I mentioned earlier in my review are especially handy when I'm at work, out exercising, or in the middle of something that makes it hard to stop and go get my phone. If Apple ever gets around to fixing the issue with the exercise tracking, this watch would warrant a 5 star rating without question.

I have always been skeptical about buying a watch for $500... but I LOVE IT! I use my watch 24/7. I love wearing it to work, because I’m in the nursing field so I cannot be on my phone. Having the watch helps me see when someone texts! It’s very nice. I wash my hands nonstop, putting my watch in the water and it still works fine. It’s one of the best purchases I’ve ever made. It’s also cool how you are able to have cellular! I can go on runs without the hassle of having my phone on me. I love my new watch, and I recommend getting apple care. It’s cheaper in the long run
