I previously owned the Apple Watch series 2 42mm black aluminum. I didn’t want something too shiny or super noticeable, but I wanted something that looked nicer. I’ve read that the stainless steel silver scratches easily and that it was hard to notice the stainless steel on black, so I’ve shied away from going overboard on purchasing the premium Apple Watch, until the stainless steel gold came out. I’ve had my watch for a couple of months now and I have just recently put a small thin screen protector, however I hadn’t noticed any scratches around the watch. I could care less for the Milanese loop (you could buy the similar bands on amazon for a fraction of the price) but I like how surprisingly this watch went goes well with different bands. I personally like the sleek and smoothed out design for the new Apple Watch series, and the stainless steel gold gives it an elevated sophisticated look. As far as weight, it doesn’t bother me since I’m used to wearing watches with bigger faces, and honestly I don’t notice the difference when I upgraded from the 42mm to this 44mm. The screen size does make a difference in terms of looking at pictures or changing the faces, however I honestly don’t spend time looking at pictures on my watch, I’d much rather pull my phone out. I love my (ridiculously expensive) watch and would definitely recommend it.

at first I didn’t know how much I liked the finish, I expected a more yellow gold, in some lighting it’s a copper gold, but it other lighting it’s a deep sophisticated gold, after spending a day with it I realized I like it more then the color i expected it to be. It’s way faster than the series 3, most things seem instantaneous, and the speaker is way louder and clearer. The screen is more vibrant and everything is bigger and easier to read, but it feels like there’s less on the wrist since it’s thinner and closer to the wrist. It’s really amazing.

With the loss of Windows Phone, I had to move. I was trying Android when a friend offered to let me use his old iPhone X. I went all-in when the iWatch 4 price was reduced. At the reduced price, the stainless version is a better choice just for durability. Steel vs aluminum and sapphire vs glass. I did get a clear wrap case. The steel weighs more but feels better, you know it is on your arm. I changed to a conventual third party band. I did not activate the cellular option. It is a great feature if you have occasions where you cannot have your phone. You will still get all of the functionality without the cellular as long as you have your phone nearby. I chose the largest screen, allowing most of the text to be large enough for me to read without glasses. The watch is a great extension to the Apple Ecosystem. It proves what can be done when you control the hardware and the software.

I upgraded from a series 3 38mm, and I am loving this watch! I love how easy it is to navigate with the bigger screen--which is super sharp! I tried the Gold 40mm first but decided on the 44mm because of the ease of use with the bigger screen. The gold color is a little muted--almost like a copper-ish color to me. Even so, it's still a beautiful piece. The only complaint I have so far is that some of my apps won't work on the infographic screens yet. I'm hoping they will in the future with an update.

Really nice upgrade from original Apple Watch.I’m a big fan of this watch. I purchased the stainless steel one to get a classier look, and it sure delivers. Upgrading from an original Apple Watch, I can really appreciate the difference. It’s much snappier and more responsive. The screen is much larger despite having a similar size overall.

Love the bigger display and faster processor- for a great deal on the Black SS. Didn’t need the always on feature of the gen 5 version.

I’ve used this for about a week and still gets used to wearing it on a daily basis. It makes it convenient for doing simple tasks that I would have required me to pull my phone out before. The finish on this watch is amazing and nothing on the market seems to come close to it. If you can afford it go for it!

This is my 3rd Apple Watch upgraded for my apple 3 watch but I love this Apple Watch 4 stainless still in gold . Used it everyday loving it and recommend to everyone

I absolutely love this watch! It's much ore of a a health device than just a watch. I use the EKG function as well as Health App and Heart Rate frequently. I also use the fall feature. As an avid athlete, I love the Workout functions and fitness tracking. I frequently swim and SCUBA dive with my watch as well. The bigger screen makes it easy to access apps, and I also like to talk on the phone on it. It's such an excellent device.

Wow, I’m in love with my new iWatch♥️ I hesitated at first whether to invest that much money in a watch but I’m so happy I took the Plunge! Synced with my iPhone effortlessly and I never miss a calendar event, the weather conditions, alerts, tracks all my activities, multiple sport programs built in, I chose the stainless steel instead of aluminum and the 44 mm face. Love the face options, the water feature for swimming and heart monitor, EKG readings, etc!!!

This is a great item! So Far So Good! Now Apple needs to work on the Battery Lasting longer than 2 days!

I’ve only had the watch for a day so too soon to give a full review however, I do love the upgrades and the bigger watch face. For the price, I do feel the stainless steel should have come with a upgraded band.

Sleek, stylish, and lots of great features. This watch does it all and it looks really good while doing it. I’ve had zero issues since I started using it and I love the cellular feature where my phone doesn’t have to be anywhere around for the watch to do what it should.

I really like this watch. Compared to aluminum case, the stainless steel version is slightly heavier, but I don’t really feel it once you put it on the hand. The display is amazing and battery lasts noticeably longer compared to series 3.

This is not only a great addition to my phone, but it is also attractive and functional and gives freedom from having to have the phone in my pocket.

Just updated from the original Apple Watch stainless steel which was silver. Love how quick this is and the Taptic feed back on the dial is so responsive, blues the black steel like amazing

Very nice in the Gold Stainless Steel with Gold Band. The new fall detection and ECK features are incredible!! If you like the Apple Watch, you need the series 4.

Excellent make and more battery power, steel is more better than silver.

I had the original Apple Watch black stainless. I lost that one and recently missed having it. The new upgrades are great!
