I chose the stainless version of the watch for durability and I’m pleased with this months later. I also chose the cellular version which I would not do again since I don’t feel that it offers that much more feature-wise unless you like to go places without your phone and talk to your wrist in walk-in-talkie mode. You can stream music over cellular connection from it to a wireless headset but meh... I do like all of the other features and would still choose the same model without cellular.

Finally replaced my original apple watch, which was no longer being updated by Apple because the old hardware could not handle the new software. Huge improvement. Model 4 is faster, has a huge area of space on the face for complications, and a few valuable health features like EKG and fall protection. It even has a workable mini calculator, which has the added feature of figuring tips and splitting a bill. I loved my original Apple watch, but this new one is fantastic.

This Apple watch and it's stainless steel body iS very beautiful, doesn't scratch easily and overall a great design!

Loving the new cellular feature of this watch. No longer need to worry about being out of range with my phone!!

The watch is accurate with the readings. Wishing had a better battery life. Have not used other apps. Fail to see reason for other apps in a tiny device that tells time & track health features. Limited watch faces. Unable to get other traditional watch faces thru Apple.

I replaced a Series 1 Apple Watch with this one. This improvements are very noticeable. The bigger screen is awesome but even better is how much faster it is than my old watch. Now I don't avoid doing things I knew was possible on the watch because there's no delay like on my old one. The stainless steel finish is beautiful. I am not using the cellular feature. At the sale price Best Buy was offering this is an excellent purchase.

I love being able to track my steps with the exercise app. I do 10,000 steps per day. It also helps to track how many calories I burn. It tracks how much I stand. Having the watch has enabled me to be healthier. It matches up with my phone very easily. I’m able to listen to music through my AirPods. The stainless steel version is more durable which also was good for me as a clumsy man. I shattered my last Watch. This one is tougher .

Wonderful price and great watch. I love the talk and text feature. Cellular is the only way to go.

Looks really nice when wearing. As usual, Apple degrades the battery life with their software updates, so updating to the next watchOS decreased battery life by about 20%. Beware of Apple's tricks.

I’m posting this review “early”, because as a Christmas gift, the watch is still unopened. I am greatly optimistic that the device will perform admirably, but if it doesn’t, I’ll update this review. Shout out to Best Buy for an amazing pre-Black Friday doorbuster: $399 for a stainless steel GPS + Cellular Apple Watch. It may not be the current generation, but it has 99% of the features for a much better price.

I had a 42mm Series 2 Stainless before this and this watch is a step up in virtually every way (except for thickness, which is a good thing!)... I heartily recommend this and with the sapphire screen, I don't have to worry about scratches, putting on a screen protector, etc. The gold coating on the case is also surprisingly rugged, since I chopped down and cut up a medium-sized tree wearing it (I forgot I was wearing it) and had no damage at all!

The 44mm size makes a big difference on the screen. $300 off on the price made it a steal.

If you’re in the market for an Apple Watch, whether it’s your first or upgrading from the 1st-3rd generation, I recommend the series 4 (at a discounted price) as opposed to the series 5. Same battery life, same size, all the same features except for the display being always on, and a compass? Save your money and buy a series 4.

Easy to assemble and begin using. Only wish was battery lasted more than 2 days before needing to recharge. Did like the preset clock faces. Stainless steel case has held up without scratches after ive bumped wrist on walls.

The Apple Watch 4 Series with Stainless Steel (Cellular + GPS) is definitely a good buy when compared to the Apple Watch 5 Series Aluminum. The only difference between 4 & 5 is the all time display and an additional compass. Otherwise, pretty much the features are same. When I am getting the 4 series stainless steel for the same price as series 5 aluminum, why would I stick to 5? :)

I am hard on watches. I was not confident the aluminum versions would stay looking good so this is my second stainless one (v2 and now 4). I bought it after the 5 was announced and saved half so it was only expensive and not silly stoopid expensive. 1yr in, I wear it a lot. Charge it every other day. I appreciate it for what I paid. Full price, uh, no.

Made the switch from Garmin. Great watch. Battery life longer than anticipated so far. Paid for the stainless case and sapphire lens because I’m hard on my watches. Expensive but hoping it’s worth it. Price cost it 1 star

Great design. EKG feature is just awesome at-least gives you a good mental satisfaction. You can take phone call and receive messages abs notification even if you don’t have phone when in WiFi. So happy bought this over 5 series Cons: blood pressure monitor and the blood oxygen would have been an awesome features which is missing
