I’ve gotten a watch or two has a gift growing up and didn’t care much for them. When my girlfriend started having health issues with her heart we both picked one of these up and this grew on me immediately. The ability to check texts quickly without opening my phone, especially at work is extremely helpful. I also was at first unaware that I could actually receive phone calls on this as I thought that was limited to cellular watches only, however, you only have to be within range of your phone for this to work which was an awesome + once I realized this. Can’t be happy enough with the amount of customization you are able to do with the watch. Only real complaint, and I know this is a smart watch, but I was expecting the battery life to last a little longer if I was not using the always on display clock face. I can squeeze roughly two full days of battery if I have minimal use with the watch. I’ve caught the heart monitor app staying or randomly opening a few times and was never able to figure out how it opened. I found that there is an issue when attempting to use the compass and you have no cell service it will not permanently close out of that app unless you restart the watch. Other than those minor problems I love this watch and have no regrets purchasing it.

Main reason for upgrade was Fall / Incident Detection. Not available in Garmin VA3, available in newer models only during activities. Apple Watch on 24/7/365. Apple Watch battery life an issue. Garmin can go 2-4 days with 1 hour GPS activity per day. Apple Watch requires discipline. Since I track sleep, charge Apple Watch in evening when reading or watching TV. Will only miss an hour or so of resting heart rate tracking. Miss Garmin’s Connect app. Everything in one place. Information scattered amongst third party apps Garmin built in GPS tracking. Apple none. Need to purchase 3rd party app. Garmin limited to 4 field of info, Strava has 5, HR, pace, elapsed time, time of day on one screen. Strava starts more quickly than Garmin. Garmin built in Sleep Tracking. Apple none. Need to purchase third party app. Auto Sleep app ok, Garmin more clear and concise. Garmin built in / compatible golf app. Apple none. Need to purchase third party app. Golf Logix on Apple Watch bit more user friendly. Good News / Bad News, Garmin Golf eats battery, Golf Logix on Apple Watch does not. Uses iPhone for GPS. so must carry iPhone during round. Apple Watch easier to read notifications. Apple screen easier to set up with key information. As a colleague said in the 90’s about first cell phones. Expensive purchase. Priceless in an emergency. #Fall Detection

The watch is great. Batt last long and tracks your body functions.

This is such a great accessory. I don’t realize how much I use my Apple Watch until I am not wearing it. It is handy for nudging me while driving and using navigation on my iPhone. I can quickly check the weather at a glance, temperature and conditions. I can, at a glance, check where I am on my activity for the day and will be nudged if I am not moving often enough. I can be hands free and change my song while cleaning the house. I am able to take a call, if in a clutch, on here (though I do not recommend this). The watch has a great, smooth, bright, easy to see and easy to use screen. I can dictate text messages easily and, somehow, this watch seems to have better dictation capabilities than any of my other Apple devices. The watch is comfortable to wear. I can do so much more on this than what I have mentioned, such as, pay for purchases simply and easily or calculate tip (or do other computations) with a calculator I downloaded. The watch bands are very easy to replace and I can buy several affordable bands to add different styles for different days/occasions. Everything on this watch just works. Add in that this watch now has always on display so I do not have to flick my wrist to check the time, and this is just an amazing accessory that I didn’t realize I would appreciate so much.

I upgraded from an Apple Watch 2. So for me the bigger screen is huge upgrade. The feature of showing the time while the watch is on “sleep mode” is worth it . I order a different band ; yellow band with the space gray Watch looks really nice. However not happy that bestbuy is not giving rewards points for Apple products at least that was what I was informed when I called.

I had the orginal apple watch for years, it was out dated and went with the new series 5, was all well worth it. when I first bought my apple watch I got one of the most expensive one but this time I decided to go with the regular model Since apple is always coming out with new models .. well worth it the price was great best buy also de price match with microcenter,

This watch has some pretty amazing features on it. I never thought I would get much out of a smart watch but I was wrong. From controlling home alarm, remote starting/locking/unlocking a Ford pickup. You can log workouts, check emails, respond to text messages and answer phone calls. Although it’s so expensive I’m sure it is worth it in the long run if it has longevity.

Nicely designed. many options for display. wrist bands are nice but don't look durable. can make phone calls when phone is around. poor interaction with apps like WhatsApp. annoying reminders to breath or stand.

Love my Apple Watch. Easy to use and great battery life.

I bought this at the suggestion of my doctor who said that it was a good monitor of my heart rate. Not only does it do that, but it also monitors the quality of my sleep and the calories burned each day. I don’t really use it for phone calls or text messages, although I have once or twice in a pinch. Still learning about this amazing piece of technology.

At first I wasn’t thrilled about the bigger watch face but after wearing it for about a month I love it! A lot of great features and great battery life compared to the Series 3 I had prior to upgrading to this watch. I also think the HR is more accurate compared to the series 3 and calculates calories more accurately. So far loving this Series 5!

I originally wanted to just get a series 3 thinking that would be the same as this. I was completely wrong! My wife encouraged me to get this one so I did and man am I glad I did! This watch is amazing! Awesome features for every person for everyday use. The always on display is by far my favorite feature. Overall, amazing watch, well worth the money!

When I bought the Apple Watch, I felt like I was making an unnecessary purchase. I was wrong. I was looking for some kind of fitness tracker that would track exercise, steps, standing, sleeping, and heart rate. The Apple Watch does all of that, plus some, as do many other trackers. At the time I purchased, I had a lot of Best Buy Rewards Points as well as a nice sale on the Apple Watch, bringing it to the same price as many other trackers I was considering. I bought the watch because why not? The Move/Exercise/Stand rings motivate me far more to exercise and complete the rings than any other tracker I've ever had. It's like playing a video game, complete with in-game awards. The Apple Pay convenience is even better with a watch than a phone. The message, notification, and call previews are very helpful, especially in a format that I am familiar with already. Overall, this watch has exceeded my expectations of function. I thought I was paying for a lot of unneeded material, but I use far more of the watch than I could have ever expected. Would I have bought it at the higher price? No and still no, as I feel Apple charges far more than necessary for their products. But for what the watch does, it is awesome.

It's really convenient. I work in the lab with gloves on every day. it bothered me a lot earlier that I need to take off my gloves to check on the phone whenever it rings. The apple watch makes the whole situation different, now I just look at the watch screen and see what the message is and whom it is from, and ignore those not important. Love it!

Great upgrade from the Iwatch 3. excellent new features.

With all of the new features, I would say its just a little bit better than the previous series of course but being newer series, I was expecting more. Its a little pricey as well so Im just gonna give it 4stars.
