His old watch was not keeping time very well and the date was always wrong. Now he has an accurate watch with the date always correct and he can get his messages from me and watch his exercise, etc. Being a senior, it will let him know if he is having problems with his heart. We were able to set a watch face to look like his old watch even though many people chose digital styles. He prefers a more traditional looking watch. People don’t even realize it is an Apple Watch as he even chose a band that looks like a normal watch. It is very versatile. I was so surprised at how easy it was to synchronize it with his iPhone. We are very happy!

I'm a watch snob and usually wear my mechanical watches on a daily basis. I finally decided to get an Apple Watch and see what the hype was about. I am very glad I did. I went with the Apple Watch 5th gen because I wanted to have the screen on all the time. I also love how light it is. I would recommend getting Apple Care with one of these. I have not needed it yet, but with the fact that the screen is NOT sapphire crystal it will scratch. So getting a screen protector is a must. Also I got mine on sale. Best Buy tends to run their sales Sunday to Sunday, so if you can wait time it so you can shave $100 off the price of the watch.

I haven't worn a watch for years, like most, just using my cell phone to keep time. I viewed the Apple watch as a luxury item I didn't need. While I probably will say I don't NEED this watch, I am sure glad I have it! It is so convenient to not have to have my cell phone in hand 24/7. I can text and call from my wrist, access apps very quickly, monitor my sleep patterns, time and distance my walks/runs, and much more. Is it a little pricey? Yes. It is Apple after all. Even so, this watch has made my life a little easier and worth the money. I would definitely recommend!

Got this for my birthday and really like it. I was hesitant to spend that much on a watch, but I am glad I did my wife has a first gen Apple Watch that she really likes, although it’s been replaced under warranty twice (the back kept falling off). I get two days of use out of a charge, unless I use it for a golf watch app that uses a lot of GPS (even after 20 months). No problems so far. I really like how I can use it to adjust volume on my iPods; didn’t know about that!

Apple makes amazing products and this Apple Watch stands out from the rest. The possibilities with this Apple Watch are endless. The watch fits quite comfortably around my wrist and the band does not tug on the hairs on my arm/wrist. The watch comes with two different sized wrist bands for your selection. The size of the screen is 44mm in size is the perfect size for reading text messages and browsing through the watch. You can answer calls, read text messages and use the iHealth app to see your daily fitness goals. I highly recommend this watch to any age and gender.

I picked the Apple Watch up after switching from Android. Previously I had used the Galaxy Watch 46mm which was a solid smart watch when I bought but started to show its age as Samsung got lazy with the updates. So far after about 3 weeks the Apple Watch has proven its usefulness from health tracking and overall being an excellent smart device. Notifications are easy to read and well the battery life is decent if you disable Always On Display. I do recommend getting a case/cover for the device due to its potentially more fragile design.

Apple you did it again. This watch is awesome. I love everything that it has to offer, I can see my heartbeat, I can see how many hours I’ve slept, Check the time and more! The battery runs me all day and it charges very quickly. My only wish is that it would play music out of the watch itself. The walkie talkie app is also a little wonky and from my experience it doesn’t work all the time. I also wish the watch could detect if anyone on your contact list owns an Iwatch so that you could easily add anyone from your contact list.

I love the AW! It works as both a health monitoring device and a sort of remote for the phone. I am someone who is addicted to keeping tabs on my phone, and I love the freedom the watch allows me to not have my phone on me at all times. For me the watch lasts from when I put it on first thing in the morning until I go to bed at night (with battery to spare...if there was a fast charging I bet I could wear it all day and night and charge it during the morning while I get ready for work)

Decided both parents needed to monitor their health and have a means of tracking steps as well as heart rate. This has been super easy for them to use, as a techy myself, I was able to show them the basics. They don't really understand how to use apps in general but learned immediately how to use the health and step tracker. Definitely motivates them to walk more frequent. They were super excited about being able to answer phone calls on their watch. Now they use it

I began with the Generation 0 Apple Watch, then transitioned to the Apple Watch Series 3 and what a difference that was. Moving from the Series 3 to the Series 5 doesn’t have the same shift, although it is a noticeable difference. The watch is speedier, more responsive, slightly larger screen and modified design, as well as better brightness and of course, the “always on” feature! All of these are seemingly small changes, but together make a truly wonderful day to day experience.

Love this watch! I have had the best time with this watch, honestly didn’t think I would like it as much as I do. Works amazing with the iPhone 11 and honestly it’s the only option for a smart watch these days. I’m getting great battery life with always on display. I did turn off background app refresh which I think helps, but I usually get more than 24 hours, probably 36 hours of use. Now mind you this is probably not heavy use, but great nonetheless. Highly recommend.

At first, my series 1 Apple watch seemed like a nice to have accessory. Then I broke it and felt lost. Replaced it with the series 5 and love it even more. Replaces a need for a Fitbit to count my steps. I can change songs in the car without taking my eyes off the road. I track my sleep and start and stop my walks and runs. Not sure how I could live without my Apple Watch! OK, it's an extension of my iphone but so convenient to me.

I was afraid of the Series 5 price tag when I hit that Confirm Purchase button, but I cannot tell you how happy I am that I did. I upgraded from the original Apple Watch, which was non-responsive at times, slow to read text messages and disappointment with the lack of a screen that can always be on. I bought this watch primarily for when I am in the hospital as a nursing staff member. Be warned, there is no active second hand while in always-on mode. But I have noticed that my watch lasts greater than my 12-hour shifts. This is even with more than average use -- voice-to-text messages, viewing texts primarily from my watch, looking at the screen for time... I would say the lowest I've ever had this watch was about 27% after a day's worth of use. If you're looking to upgrade from an older version, do not let the price tag prevent you from getting this. The EKG function is also fun to play with, but only assists in monitoring atrial fibrillation, normal sinus, sinus tachy and sinus brady. Overall, I highly recommend this watch not just for the increased battery life, Apple's first watch with an always-on screen, EKG/fall monitoring, but because it's also helpful when trying to stay off your cell phone but still stay connected with long-distance family/friends.

I waited to upgrade from a Gen 1 Apple Watch because none of the following iterations were so big of a jump for me that I felt it was necessary to upgrade. Now with an always on display I am sold. I love this watch! It does so much and makes life easier. Most of the things I’d have to hold my phone in my hand to do previously can now be done conveniently from my wrist. The build quality and reliability, like all Apple products, is top notch.

Complements the iPhone with additional ability to monitor health status, workout activities, and many more. It is a huge learning curve though especially for those who are not as technologically inclined but spend a few weeks with it and one should be able to get the gist of navigating the watch. It's also helpful that there is an ability to magnify the watch to improve visibility and legibility. Would recommend!

The bigger screen and slimmer casing is very nice and the always on display doesn’t drain as much battery as people say, it all depends on the brightness you set, I have mine set to medium bright ness and my battery last all day. The only thing that I don’t like is that the ekg is restricted to people 22yo and over, for people that have heart related medical issues this could be a life saver regardless of your age.

I am very happy with my Apple Watch Series 5. I am working hard on putting all of the icons for this watch. I believe that the series 5 is so easy to use. It has such advanced things that the other watch companies do not. I especially like the Health part of the Series 5 Apple. It gives me a secure feeling that I can easily get help if I need it. And to track my health. Great help!!

I'm not a huge watch person (generally speaking) and never have been. But this was bought for my mom as a Christmas present and man does she love it. I've enjoyed helping her set it up and seeing all it can do. It really is an amazing gadget. Highly recommend. It really helps my mom keep track of her heart rhythm with her having been in A-Fib before as well as monitor her diabetes.

You’ve read about always on display, compass, and all of the incremental yet impressive features that make the Series 5 one if the best smart watches you can buy. After using it for a month, I’d have to say that it’s an upgrade from all other models (I’ve owned each one) that’s worthy of the hype — and I actually prefer analog automatic watches but was wooed back to Apple Watch by this series.
