Keep your phone at home while walking

Now I can stay in touch but keep my phone at home while taking my afternoon walks. Simply paired it with some BT headphones. I also take it to the beach since it is waterproof to stay in touch without risking getting my phone wet or stolen. The only issue to know is that as soon as it is submerged, even if an inch, the BT loses its connection. But other than that the GPS phone is amazing.

For a computer on your wrist it's great, but as a watch it's Okay. Plenty of extra's on your wrist to deal with and battery life is about 24 hours "which I don't like". Overall not a bad piece of equipment I just wish battery life was longer.

It's less about telling time and more about keeping me aware. Taps me when driving, taps me when I need to stand, taps me when I need to drink some water, etc. It my little extra voice that reminds me to do things. Oh, and I can use it when walking, to make calls, to listen to music and books. I've never been much for wearing a watch but if you're going to get one this one is very nice.

After watching many YouTube reviews, I bit the bullet and bought the Mac Daddy of all smart watches - the Apple Watch Series 5 cellular. Boy was I disappointed. I bought it mostly as a fitness tracker. I chose the cellular model so I could run and listen to music on my Spotify premium account and leave my bulky iPhone in the car. Here's why I returned it. 1. Bluetooth issues. The Apple Watch communicates to your iPhone via Bluetooth. Now, I also use Bluetooth for my wireless headset and I use a Bluetooth adapter to plug into the aux on my truck stereo for music. Even though I bought the cellular version, there was no way to have the watch powered on and disconnect it from Bluetooth. The Apple Watch fought with all my other Bluetooth devices so badly that I had to turn the watch off in order to listen to music in my truck. 2. Streaming music through the Watch without the iPhone only works with Apple Music. If you want to run without your phone, but you want to listen to music, you'll need to download music onto your Watch like it's an old school iPod. So why would I pay an additional $100 for the cellular version plus $10 a month to activate cellar if my options to stream music are limited to Apple only? No thanks. 3. Poor battery life / sleep monitoring. If you want to use the Watch to monitor your sleep, you'll need a third party app because Apple doesn't have tracking for sleep. But, don't bother, because the Watch only has an 18 hour battery life so you'll need to charge it while you sleep. I understand that smart watches consume a lot of energy because they're doing a lot. This is more of an overall criticism of using a smart watch for a daily activity tracker. 4. Price. For what I paid, I'm not willing to compromise my needs. Especially when I'm driving down the road with a powered off Watch so I can listen to music. At that point, the Watch is nothing but a liability to me. I returned it for a simple Fitbit Charge 4. I'm much happier with it. It's way cheaper and let's me listen to music on my truck speakers. I'm a happy guy.

I had never wanted an Apple Watch (back with the Series 3 and later) because I'm disabled.. there's no use to spend the money on something like that for me. But when the Series 4, and now the Series 5, had such health specific features I felt like it became necessary for me, that it could really help me and my doctors. I'm in love with this and really am hopeful the help it will give my doctors and I.

Had to update my IWatch after I cracked the faceplate. Would have cost $299.00 to replace the faceplate but it would not have been water resistant anymore so I got this IWatch 5 for a great price since it was on sale. Wanted the stainless case but cost like $200-$300 more than the aluminum case. Also bought a glass cover and rubble case to protect it.

Got this for my wife who is a nurse. She had wanted an Apple watch for a while to keep up with email, texts, etc. without having to keep her phone with her all the time. The main reason she hesitated to get a watch was because the face did not stay on all the time - something nurses need when checking a patient's pulse. Well Apple listened and added this feature. She loves her new watch.
