It's been a good watch for the past year. I've dropped it a few times and nothing yet, only a few minor scratches on the screen which are barely noticeable.

This SERIES “5”’LOOKS GREAT, feels as good as my SERIES 1. Now, onto why I’m dissatisfied... and understand that I UPGRADED from a series 1 for THREE SPECIFIC reasons. First off I’m an older ELECTRONICS GUY retired. Lots of Apple toys along with others DEVICES. HAPPY with almost all my Apple stuff! So, THIS SERIES 5 was purchased for the EKG, COMPASS, and GPS. That’s all. I’ll start with the fact I purchased their “top of the line” 5, with the “MILANESE” band in black SS. *The COMPASS DOES NOT WORK ACCURATELY (unless you like being >90° OFF!) with this top of the line metal “MILANESE” MAGNETIC BAND. “CLOSE?” Not even!!! It’s metal and magnetic! I SHOULD HAVE OUT THOUGHT THIS ASPECT!!! So TO ME ITS WORTHLESS!!! **EKG, as mentioned I’m OLDER and I was out looking for an “EKG” device (FDA somethinged) that just might be BENEFICIAL to me... NOPE!!! ... another WORTHLESS over priced “toy” feature. DO NOT BET YOUR LIFE on it! ***GPS... I know what gps is and does... just what “use” it has on this Iwatch is beyond me...you have to READ the GPS on your IPhone!!!! ***ON YOUR IPHONE!!! Which already has a GPS on it!!!! “APPS”... well there are a few... LOTS OF WATCH FACES... good grief!!! $900 for an electronic watch that has “CUTE FACES!” SUMMARY.. So is it any BETTER then my SERIES 1??? NOPE... I still have time to “RETURN” it... (-$45...5%?) so we’ll see. RIGHT NOW I’m using the “5” during the day... (great batt life)... and then use and keep my “1” either on or near me at night... And my “1” has some CUTE WATCH FACES ALSO. The “5” in BLACK does look great!! ~Jerryc

Stylish and sleek design makes this watch a must have for the Apple lover. New features vs series 3 & 4 and the band is so comfortable. Price point is a bit high but for the hardware being stainless steel vs aluminum, the extra weight makes it feel great on your wrist. This is ideal for men or women. I am looking to purchase another one for standby.

If you have a series 4, I wouldn’t recommend getting series 5. It has this self dimming display (I’m not talking about the always on dimming feature). I’m talking about how the screen will automatically dim from ambient light. If in a dark room, or car, when the screen awakes when you raise your wrist, it’s too dark. (Google it). If you then face watch towards a bright light, the watch will then get brighter. It’s so annoying. And there isn’t a fix. I returned watch and went back to series 4. Overall watch is excellent. But that dimming feature was terrible. (Again, not talking about while the always on display feature runs to save battery). This is when you raise your wrist to wake watch it is too dim if in a dark room.

I love this watch! I love the larger size too! It is beautiful with dress clothes and I can change the band for workouts. It calculates steps much slooower than my fitbit though ;) The only negative is changing the bands. It almost requires using solid to release the little button. I ruined a couple fingernails before I figured this out.

This is my second Applet Watch. I upgraded from the Series 2 watch and I can definitely tell the difference in speed. All the apps load up much faster. The watch turns on way much faster as well compared to the Series 2, which can take several minuets to turn on. The Milanese Loops is really stylish. You have to adjust it a few times throughout the day because it's held by a magnet, but I don't mind doing that. The only thing that hasn't improved much is the battery life, which lasts about the same as Series 2. I still give it 5 stars because it's the best watch out, maybe except for the new version, which is Series 6.

Love my new watch! Activated the cellular and now I don’t need my phone with me. And if I should fall, it has a feature for falling in case I can’t talk. It is awesome!

I purchased this watch on behalf of my husband. He had really enjoyed the earlier version of the Apple Watch that he bought several years ago, and he had been wanting to upgrade to the 5 Series for some time. He loves the new features that are a part of this Apple Watch Series 5. It's like wearing a computer, phone, and activity tracker all-in-one on your wrist! The stainless steel version is pricey, but that's what my husband insisted on for durability.

I upgraded from Gen 1 Apple Watch to this one. Definitely worth the upgrade. Really like the always on screen and bigger face. One perk was I am glad to see all my previous watch bands work with this new larger watch. The heart tracking in workout is probably twice as accurate. When lifting weights I now have less disconnect on the tracker data. Also I get access to a whole lot more watch faces than I had before. Battery life is better but still around 1 day of use.

This Series 5 watch is so beautiful in gold with gold band. It is very elegant. We can always buy the cheaper bands in different colors on the internet, but it’s hard to find a classy band. This is it. The watch battery lasts longer & the watch face stays on so you can check the time without everyone knowing. And the camera is the best on any watch..WOW! I highly recommend.

My doc says the EKG isn't reliable and it's one of the reasons I bought it. Some docs say they can read the EKG remotely -- which is right? Nice watch -- enjoy wearing it and like the buzz I get with each notification. I decide if I need to do something about it or not. Will work on learning more about the watch. Have not needed it but also purchased it so if I fall -- 911 can be alerted and if I cannot be contacted, they call my emergency numbers and come to transport me to the hospital.

I've been wearing an Apple Watch since early series 1. I upgraded from a series 4. My biggest concern when buying this watch was the band. I have found a really enjoy it I work out with it on. Occasionally it does get loose if you have a long sleeve button down shirt on but never even close to falling off. I highly recommend this product. When wearing it, the weight, the look, its quality you can tell.. But at the end of the day its a just a watch.

No complaints. Love it. I feel naked when I forget it for a day. So helpful in my busy life

Easy to use and very help full if you take full advantage of everything it can do.

A gift from wife to husband. Selected +cellular because he doesn't like to carry cell phone but she wants to be able to reach him. It's been a little challenge because he has really large fingers but is liking it so far. The band is handsome but going to replace it. The magnetic closure is awkward for him; prefers traditional clasps.

This has been a great watch and I have really enjoyed it.
